Rob Kardashian shares rare snap of daughter Dream as Kobe Bryant for Halloween
As a seasoned observer of the Kardashian clan’s dynamic, I must say that it’s intriguing to see Dream, the youngest member of this ever-expanding family, stepping into the limelight. The fact that she’s following in her older cousins’ footsteps is no surprise, considering the magnetic pull of the spotlight within the family.
Rob Kardashian posted an adorable series of photos featuring his daughter, Dream, dressed up like the basketball icon, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, for Halloween.
Dream put on an old Kobe Bryant jersey number 24, along with its coordinating shorts, white socks, and black low-tops, for a playful collection of photos.
She ensured nothing was missed as she adorned herself with a golden sweatband and matching wristband, striking a pose before a miniature basketball arcade game.
In my fervor, I too emulated the legend by wrapping my wrist and forearm, reminiscent of Kobe Bryant’s iconic moment during Lakers practice back in 1999. Just like him, I channeled my determination and practiced shooting free throws with one hand, mirroring his resilience after a broken wrist.
Rob captioned the image to his 3.2million followers: ‘My daughter wanted to be Kobe for Halloween and I couldn’t of been Happier
‘Dreamy bean aka Kobe bean LETS GOOOO DODGERS‼️’
Rob rarely updates his social media accounts, with his most recent posts featuring Dream dating back to last week, and the previous one, too, showing Dream, which was posted in May.
This follows reports that weeks ago, the daughter of Rob and Blac Chyna might have started an Instagram account on her own. However, it seems that the parents are in dispute, as sources suggest that they are prepared to challenge any strategies from his well-known family who want to push her into the public eye.
Recently, Dream, the newest member of the Kardashian family, made her entrance onto social media platforms. This took place only a few days prior to her striking catwalk appearance, at the age of seven, during New York Fashion Week.
However, at age 37, Rob is determined to shield his only child from joining his renowned sisters and their offspring in the limelight. He firmly believes she should not be exploited financially, as he doesn’t want her to be viewed merely as a money-making machine.
According to a source, Rob has learned from the impact of fame on his sisters and is determined to prevent a similar situation for his daughter. (DailyMail.com)
Since Dream is the sole grandchild bearing the Kardashian surname, it’s anticipated that she will play a significant role in their ongoing dynasty.
They mentioned that Rob has made significant efforts to shield her from public attention, emphasizing his strong determination for her not to be exploited financially or develop an excessive focus on money and personal gain.
Last week, Dream showcased on the ramp for Zeus And Lexi Kids, displaying a set of denim pants and a black-and-white jacket as part of their collection.
Rob initially showed reluctance towards participating, but ultimately agreed, understanding well the significance it held for his family.
The source added that although he initially hesitated, he eventually agreed to participate in the fashion show, recognizing its significance to his family.
However, it became clear to him that they appeared to be shaping Dream into a carbon copy of the Kardashians, which is something he doesn’t desire for his child.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, finds herself aligning with her ex-fiancé’s recent personal evolution.
The source stated, “Blac Chyna agrees wholeheartedly. She has undergone a significant change to rediscover herself, and she wants Dream not to be molded into a symbol of the Kardashians.
For quite some time now, she has faced off against her family using legal means and engaging in verbal disputes on various social media platforms.
Yet, although they’ve agreed on a ceasefire for the sake of Dream, it’s said that Chyna isn’t prepared to allow her daughter to be used as a piece in the Kardashian family’s media strategy.
The source added: “She’s had numerous conflicts with the Kardashian family, and her stance on this matter is firmer than Rob’s. She distanced herself from their circle years ago and healing from all the past troubles took a considerable amount of time.
If they believe Dream might serve as a piece in their scheme for maintaining a dynasty, they may as well keep daydreaming.
Ever since I first laid eyes on Dream back in 2016 (yes, she was born that year!), I’ve been absolutely smitten. Last Friday, her parents took a giant leap and officially launched her Instagram account, sharing their little star with the world for the very first time. It was pure magic!
In the video, Dream addressed the camera with a friendly greeting, introducing himself as “Dream” and welcoming viewers to his freshly launched page.
In his initial response, he expressed affection by typing, ‘I adore you,’ accompanied by several heart and tear emojis.
Dream’s Instagram account, as mentioned in its bio that it is managed by parents, currently boasts over 680,000 followers.
In the year 2022, it appeared that the mother of all managers, Kris Jenner, was preparing to focus on the upcoming Kardashian generation. This became evident when she featured alongside Dream in an advertisement for the Amazon Glow interactive system.
Dream isn’t the only one of Kris’ grandchildren to start making a name for themselves.
In a LOL Surprise! fashion show held in Los Angeles back in 2018, North West, the eldest child of Kim Kardashian (who shares her with ex-husband Kanye West), walked down the runway at the age of five.
Since turning 11, North has shared the stage with her rap artist father at the Yeezy Season Eight Paris Fashion Week event in 2020, and has performed alongside him multiple times on stage as well.
Currently, she has established herself as an independent performer and artist following her collaboration on the song “Talking/Once Again”. In the near future, she plans to unveil her first album titled “Elementary School Dropout.
In June, she was the main act, portraying Simba at The Lion King’s 30th anniversary show.
Besides her brothers and sister, North, who is eight, Chicago, aged six, Psalm, five, are all featured in various Skims advertisements as well.
Previously, Saint recently established his personal YouTube channel following the drafting of a strong agreement by his mother.
In the meantime, Penelope Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter who is 12 years old, maintains a popular TikTok account. On this platform, she shares her enthusiasm for makeup and skincare products.
2021 saw me, as an over-the-moon fan, witness my idol Khloe Kardashian’s little princess, True Thompson, grace our TV screens for the first time in a commercial! She had already charmed us all with her adorable appearances alongside Khloe in a promotional spot for Nurtec ODT, a medicine designed to help adults manage migraines.
Kylie Jenner has filed a number of trademarks over the years for her six-year-old daughter’s growing business, Stormi World.
