Rivals series two filming ‘thrown into chaos by a screaming pig running around on set’

Filming of the new series of Rivals was reportedly thrown into the chaos by a boisterous piglet.

The creators of the Disney+ series had a playful idea for a scene: they featured a pig as a prop, adorning it with a bow tie and having an actor carry it like an accessory.

Apparently, the piglet had an accident and soiled some of the actor’s clothing. It also made so much noise that it disrupted filming and made some scenes unusable.

People working on the set thought the pig might have been upset by the new environment. Some of the actors, especially Danny Dyer, felt sorry for the animal.

According to a source, one scene required multiple retakes because it involved a chase around a courtyard.

A few people thought they should stop, but the director insisted on continuing to get the necessary footage.

Danny especially felt bad for Leftie and gently hugged it to try and soothe it – a courageous move considering he was wearing a white shirt and bow tie.

A representative from Happy Prince, the company behind the show ‘rivals,’ stated that the well-being of animals on set is their top priority.

Happy Prince follows all animal welfare laws and uses excellent production methods.

Following Danny Dyer’s claim that the upcoming season of Rivals 2 features a lot of intimate scenes, reports suggest the production team has employed all available intimacy coordinators in the UK.

The actor who plays Freddie Jones on the show announced they’re filming twelve episodes of ‘Rivals,’ with production continuing until March of next year.

‘It is brilliant but it is a mad thing to do a sex scene.

Believe it or not, kissing or making out with someone is sometimes considered part of the job, depending on who you’re working with. And honestly, if you’re attracted to them, that’s understandable.

He mentioned that the show ‘Rivals’ featured many intimacy coaches, stating they had likely used all of them available.

The popular Disney+ series, adapted from Jilly Cooper’s novel, features Robert Dyer as Freddie Jones, a self-made man who partners in business with Rupert Campbell-Black, portrayed by Alex Hassell, and Declan O’Hara, played by Aidan Turner.

In the series, Jones develops a romantic connection with Lizzie Vereker, portrayed by Katherine Parkinson. The first season had eight episodes, and Disney+ has requested additional episodes for the next season.

Many viewers have praised actor Dyer’s performance as Jones, saying he adds genuine emotion to the show’s lighthearted and fast-paced style. This has prompted a fresh look at his acting abilities, especially after his years playing a role on the soap opera EastEnders.

Last month, he won a Bafta for his role in ‘Mr Bigstuff.’ In an interview with Esquire, he explained that people noticed his range as an actor thanks to his performance in ‘Rivals,’ which aired shortly after ‘Mr Bigstuff.’ He pointed out that the characters Lee and Freddie are very different from each other, showcasing his ability to take on diverse roles.

Looking back, I definitely took on some work I shouldn’t have. I was focused on providing for my family – paying the bills and sending the kids to good schools – and sometimes that meant taking any job that came along. But things are different now. I’m lucky enough to have choices, and I can actually turn down projects that don’t feel right. It’s a really empowering feeling, and I think, moving forward, I’ll be remembered more for the things I don’t do than for the things I do. It’s honestly a thrilling place to be.

Accepting the award for Best Male Performance in a Comedy at the Baftas, he joked, ‘That was unexpected! I honestly thought my performance was terrible, but apparently it was funny.’ He then thanked Sky for taking a chance on their show, and, overcome with emotion, exclaimed, ‘Wow, I’m really moved!’

I want to dedicate this to Ryan Sampson, the writer – truly one of the best things to ever come out of Rotherham, though that isn’t necessarily a high bar!

He’s truly one of the greatest actors this country has ever seen, always bringing something completely new to every role. I, on the other hand, tend to fall into patterns. He actually wrote this role with me in mind, and it’s really getting to me – it’s incredibly emotional.
