34-year-old singer was seen donning a bold black puffa jacket adorned with red checkered lining, en route to Times Square for her hosting gig alongside Ryan Seacrest on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin‘ Eve.

The singer drew attention with her striking, open coat paired over a black turtleneck dress and tall, leather wedge boots reaching up to her thighs.

She pulled back her brown hair neatly into a tidy bun and adorned herself with understated silver hoop earrings.

She gathered her dark locks into a sleek bun and added subtle silver hoop earrings to her look.

For the evening, Rita opted for an elegant selection of makeup, featuring a touch of shiny lip gloss, and topped it all off with stylish, attention-grabbing sunglasses to complete her appearance.

Before her appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square for the live broadcast on ABC, Rita shared with her fans that she would be doing double duty – both co-hosting alongside Ryan Seacrest and performing during the event. The outing comes after Rita hinted that she left The Masked Singer to make new music.

The popular music star has withdrawn from the judging role on the ITV competition series, with Maya Jama, known for hosting Love Island, now taking over that position instead.

Since the competition series began in 2020, she has been featured alongside Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan on various occasions.

Currently, while promoting a haircare product, Rita disclosed that next year she plans to return to her origins by going into the recording studio.

If the judges fail to accurately identify a specific contestant, that contestant wins instead.

In the early part of this very year, I found myself captivated by the achievements of Danny Jones, a member of the beloved band McFly. Before his latest victory on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, he had already established himself as a figure to watch.

Upon signing up, Maya expressed her excitement: “I’m really a Masked Singer enthusiast, so being part of the panel together with Davina, Jonathan, and Mo – not forgetting Joel – promises to be an absolute blast!

I’m eagerly anticipating discovering the identities behind those amazing costumes, enjoying their acts, and securing a prime spot for the revelations at the unmasking events.

Maya has been the host of Love Island since 2023, and her third series aired this summer.

Joel Dommett will be back as the host for the popular show that debuted in 2020, where famous personalities perform songs while hidden from view, waiting for viewers to identify them.

Since that time, it has amassed an astounding 37 million viewers, each eagerly trying to unmask the mystery individual.

This year’s lineup continues the tradition of featuring a variety of renowned personalities such as Dionne Warwick, NeYo, Richie Sambora, Michael Owen, Daisy May Cooper, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sue Perkins, Glenn Hoddle, Pat Cash, Lorraine Kelly, Jason Manford, Jake Shears, Sir Lenny Henry, Joss Stone, and many others.
