Rita Ora shared some revealing photos on Instagram over the weekend, posing without a top and generating a lot of buzz.
The 35-year-old singer flaunted her toned body wearing only a pair of black silk shorts.
Covering her modesty with her arms, Rita amped up the glamour with a feathered headpiece.
The singer, known for her song ‘Poison’, seems to have taken the revealing photos while getting ready to perform at the Open Master’s games in Abu Dhabi on February 6th.
Rita looked incredibly confident in recent photos, especially after sharing her journey with body image issues. She explained that therapy has been a helpful tool in overcoming her insecurities about how she looks.
The actress often posts about her workouts and healthy habits, but she’s also shared that she sometimes struggles with confidence and needs to focus on being healthy rather than just a certain weight.
Rita recently told The Sun that she reminds herself not to focus on her weight. She says it’s more important to focus on how she presents herself to the world, rather than worrying about an ideal number on the scale.
She anticipated criticism, saying, ‘Some people might think it’s easy for me to say this, given how I look, but my feelings aren’t always what they seem. It’s important to remember that.’
Rita shared that therapy helped her change how she thought about appearance, which is a big issue in the music industry.
She explained that she’s no longer concerned with other people’s opinions and is focusing on her own well-being through therapy. She encourages her fans to not stress if they’re still figuring things out, because honestly, nobody has all the answers.
Rita shared last year that she used to feel insecure about her appearance in her late twenties, explaining she felt pressure to be thinner like others.
The singer recently joined Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast to openly discuss body confidence, as part of a collaboration with Dove’s Self Esteem Project.
Rita recently shared how her feelings about her body have evolved. She explained that she used to feel insecure and didn’t think she was attractive.
Rita explained that she became more aware of her physical appearance in her late 20s. She realized she wasn’t feeling well – her energy was low, she wasn’t taking care of herself, and she was getting sick frequently. She just didn’t feel her best.
I used to think that because I wasn’t as thin as others, I was unattractive, and it makes me sad to realize I thought that way because it wasn’t true.
It felt like confronting a past version of myself, similar to what happens in therapy, and even then, that person still possessed a certain beauty.
Rita shared a video on Instagram explaining that she believes body confidence comes from self-care – prioritizing your body’s needs over its appearance. She collaborated with Dove and Happy Place to share this message.
We’re excited to be working with the Dove Self-Esteem Project on #Why2k, a campaign focused on empowering women and helping them feel more confident in their bodies.
