Riot Games unveils VCT Partner Series featuring tournament with up to 1,024 teams
The VALORANT season doesn’t wrap up at Champions; instead, there are additional events planned, including the recently unveiled VCT Partner Series.
Here’s a sneak peek into what’s coming up!
After the VALORANT Champions tournament in Paris, the competitive scene remains vibrant with numerous events upcoming where top teams will battle it out for honor, advancement, and trophies. Let’s delve into the details we’ve collected for our post-Champions preview, including the confirmed VCT Partner Series event.
Post-Champions preview
The VALORANT Champions Tournament in Paris comes to a close on October 5, which means we’ve got approximately three months left of competitions for the rest of the year. Fresh ideas are surfacing to amplify the VALORANT competitive circuit and support a wider array of teams.
Challengers Ascension
In October, from the 13th to the 26th, the Ascension tournaments of 2025 will be held, directly after the Champions event. Top contenders from Challenger teams and Ascended teams will battle it out for a spot in the International Leagues of 2026. You can now view the schedules for all regions. If an Ascended team qualifies for Champions, they have the option to prolong their stay, but only one team can continue their participation.
You can learn more about the Ascension teams and how they might advance, maintain, or even lose their position in the tournament.
Game Changers Championship Lands in Seoul
For the very first time, the Game Changers Championship is scheduled to occur in Seoul, South Korea. The event will unfold at the LoL Park from November 20th to the 30th. A total of ten teams will compete for the opportunity to bring home the Game Changers trophy. For more details about the tournament format, you can click here.
