Riot Games has announced the nonprofits selected to receive funding from its year-end charity campaign, donating over $5 million to support communities in need.
Thanks to players’ votes, Riot Games is donating over $5 million to 87 different charities. Charities that received the most votes in each region will receive half of the funds allocated to that region, while the remaining two will each receive a quarter. This year’s charity voting campaign brought players together to support important causes around the world.
Riot Games raises over $5 million for charity
So, back in November 2025, Riot let us, the players, vote for charities we thought deserved some funding. They had a huge list – 87 different nonprofits! – and we got to pick which ones we wanted to support. In the end, 29 organizations will get a share of the money, 50% of what was available in each region. The cool part is Riot promised every participating charity would get at least $10,000, which is awesome!
Jimmy Hahn from Riot Games expressed gratitude to all players who participated in this year’s voting campaign. He explained that thanks to their votes and fundraising efforts within the game, Riot is able to support nonprofits making a real difference in communities globally.
