Rihanna’s Steamy Throwback Video with A$AP Rocky Sparks Controversy Amid Ongoing Trial!

Rihanna went back in time to share an old raunchy video in honor of Valentine’s Day.

In the video shared on Instagram and X (previously Twitter), Rihanna, the Pon de Replay singer, and A$AP Rocky, both aged 36, stroll through the city streets of Paris.

‘Get u a valentine that still writes love letters,’ Rihanna captioned the post.

In the video, the pair donned identical camouflage jackets while they lounged on the floor of a hotel, likely just outside their room’s entrance.

Rocky also carried Rihanna piggyback style in another part of the video. 

In a different video, the performer known as The Umbrella Singer was seen leaning forward, and her coat’s back bore the words “Be Dumb”. At this point, Rocky playfully slapped her behind.

The video depicts a nostalgic scene, with Rocky and Rihanna being in Los Angeles, as he stands trial for the accusation of shooting his ex-friend A$AP Relli in the year 2021.

As Rihanna entered and left the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown LA, she encountered demonstrators.

Currently, he stands accused of two serious charges related to assault using a semi-automatic firearm. However, he maintains his innocence by pleading not guilty.

Previously, in January, Rocky turned down an offer for a plea bargain which included spending half a year behind bars, followed by a 7-year prison term suspended, and 3 years of supervision.

Earlier this week, it was mentioned that the rapper might testify at the trial, however, according to NBC News, he has subsequently decided not to appear as his own witness.

On the evening of the supposed event, Mayers stated that he had a replica firearm with him, which he kept as a safety measure.

In addition, Joe Tacopina, his legal representative, has supported this claim by stating that the firearm in question was actually a starting pistol designed to shoot blanks.

It’s said that on November 6, 2021, during an argument, Rocky is accused of brandishing a firearm towards his ex-friend, firing shots that resulted in slight wounds for the individual.

At a previous court hearing, A$AP Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron, provided testimony stating that he pointed a gun at Rocky and threatened to shoot him immediately, saying “I’ll kill you right now,” followed by the discharge of at least four gunshots.

It’s claimed that a shot struck Ephron’s hand, and he reported the incident a day later.

At the site where the shooting was said to have occurred, Ephron later retrieved two empty 9mm bullet casings. Yet, the police report that the firearm which Rocky supposedly used in the incident has not been located.

Previously, Ephron and Mayers were friends and partners in their creative endeavors. They formed this bond during their teenage years while studying at high school in New York City.
