Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky insists their sons RZA and Riot will have a normal childhood – even though mom is a billionaire
As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must commend A$AP Rocky for his unapologetic approach to parenting. His commitment to providing his children with a well-rounded childhood, regardless of the differences between their upbringing and his own, is truly commendable.
A$AP Rocky shared insights into his co-parenting approach with Rihanna, as they jointly nurture their two boys.
35-year-old rapper and his 36-year-old companion (who just returned from a fun family trip) are parents to Riza (age 2) and Riot (age 1).
When a journalist observed that the children didn’t experience the same type of childhood as he did, having grown up in Harlem, New York, the musician disagreed.
‘Yes they do,’ Rocky stated firmly in a Billboard video posted on TikTok.
That is when Rocky and the reporter engaged in a back and forth argument.

If I happen to spot @A$AP Rocky, @Rihanna, and their kids stopping by the local corner store for some Arizona’s, here’s what I would do:

A$AP said, “Check out the young RZA I showed you last night, buddy. Here he is, my little guy.”
As an ardent admirer, I’d rephrase it as follows: “I overheard a statement that hinted, coming from the mouth of a reporter, that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s little ones wouldn’t be venturing out to a corner store in the dead of night…” But then, just like that, Rocky interjected.
‘Why the f*** not? the hitmaker asked.
‘Because they’re the kids of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna,’ the reporter answered.
“However, let me emphasize that they are indeed humans,” the Good For You artist stated. “Just think of them as ordinary people, just like any other human being. Here, take a look at this video I have,” he added, showing a clip of RZA. “This is him last night, casually walking to the corner store.”
In a later part of the Billboard interview, the BET Award recipient shared that their children’s musical preferences differ significantly from those of their parents.
Right now, the tykes are fans of a popular kids’ show called CoComelon.
The animated educational program contains lots of child-friendly songs that they like to listen to over and over.
‘That s**t is driving me nuts!’ the doting father said of the cartoon.
As someone who has had their share of relationships, I understand the importance of trust and respect in a partnership. So when I joke around with my significant other, it’s crucial that they know I’m only kidding and not causing any harm. My recent experience has taught me that careless words can lead to misunderstandings, and those can be detrimental to our bond. That being said, I’ve noticed that she seems tired of certain jokes, too, so I make an effort to be more mindful about what I say and how it may affect her feelings.
In November 2020, the pair made their relationship official, and they marked Riot’s first birthday on August 1st.
Rocky recently shared photos of their sometimes hectic lives with two little ones.
On his first birthday, I want to extend my warmest wishes to my second-born son, Riot Rose Mayers. Here are some special memories captured in time, filled with love ❤️.
Rakim Mayers, the rapper, mentioned about his companion that it’s surprising how they manage harmony amidst their hectic and unpredictable timetables.
He remarked, “I don’t believe anyone could be more fitting, for when things get busy, she’s exceptionally accommodating of it. When there’s more free time, that’s when you can enjoy the most quality moments. It’s all about understanding and harmony.”
