It seems that two close friends of the recently deceased singer, who passed away at 53 after collapsing during a performance and leaving fans stunned, have come together to create this track as a tribute.

According to a source, it was shared with The Sun that Rihanna seems to have sung vocals for the song at the Red Bus Recording Studio in London recently. It’s known that Rihanna and Scoop have had a close relationship.

Previously, they had worked together, and now, Scoop has contributed a track titled ‘Happy Hood’ to Rocky’s forthcoming album entitled ‘Don’t Be Dumb’.

‘After his death, Rihanna was offered the chance to put some vocals on it.

‘She spent the start of this week holed up in Red Bus Recording Studios in London.

‘It was a super low-key visit and she was there for a day or two until the early hours.’

A$AP (known at birth as Rakim Athelaston Mayers) just shared that he has collaborated on a song titled ‘Happy Hood’ alongside artists such as Fatman Scoop, Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, Flavor Flav, and Morrissey.

He told Zane Lowe on the presenter’s Apple 1 Music show about the tune: ‘I literally tried to figure out how to get my favourite rappers.

In an amazing collaboration, I’ve managed to create a track featuring Fatman Scoop, Flavor Flav, Slick Rick, Morrissey, and Busta Rhymes, all in one.

‘It’s kind of nuts. We call that one Hood Happy. That’s coming soon.’

Initially scheduled for release on 30th August, the song titled ‘Happy Hood’ by A$AP was postponed. It’s anticipated that a revised version featuring Rihanna and other artists will be part of A$AP’s upcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’, which is now slated for release towards the end of this year.
