70-year-old Richard Wilkins attended the funeral of Nicole Kidman’s mother with his partner, Mia Hawkswell, who is 47 years old, on Tuesday.
As a seasoned connoisseur of the entertainment world, I walked hand-in-hand with the talented makeup maestro, bidding a poignant farewell to the captivating Janelle Kidman at St. Francis Xavier Church nestled in the serene Lavender Bay.
Wilkins cut an elegant figure in a dark suit and sunglasses with a tint, whereas his fresh companion exuded refinement, clad in a dark gown beneath a lengthy, black overcoat.
This year, the Nine-star entity made its public debut alongside Hawkswell, after his separation from former partner Nicola Dale.
Mia is frequently sought out by several prominent women in Sydney, such as Sonia Kruger, Rachael Finch (reportedly known to have introduced them), Jessica Rowe, and Kate Waterhouse, for their makeup needs.

The couple was also joined by their two daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, as well as Nicole’s sister Antonia, 54.
At the event, it seemed that Nicole Kidman’s older adoptive kids, Bella and Connor, whom she raised with her former spouse Tom Cruise, were not present.

For several years, the Overton and Kidman-Urban families have enjoyed a strong bond, spending significant moments such as welcoming the New Year together. On January 1, 2023, they celebrated the arrival of the new year at the luxurious North Sydney penthouse belonging to the family.
Alongside this role, Peter served as a bearer for Nicole’s father Anthony’s funeral on September 19, 2014. This somber event took place at the very same church where Janelle’s service had been held.
In Singapore, Antony passed away, believed to be due to a heart attack, at the age of 75. The Kidmans bid farewell to him in a public ceremony, where numerous well-known figures such as Russell Crowe expressed their condolences.
This past month, Nicole and Antonia paid a heartfelt homage to their deceased mother on Instagram, sharing some previously unseen family photos as well.
In the post, the actor from The Perfect Couple gratefully acknowledged the sympathies and well-wishes of millions of fans and admirers as they went through a difficult period of mourning.
Nicole penned, “My sister and I, together with our entire family, wish to express our gratitude for the incredible affection and generosity we’ve experienced this past week.
Each heartfelt message we’ve gotten from her admirers and loved ones has touched us deeply, a feeling we can hardly put into words. On behalf of our entire family, we want to extend our gratitude for your understanding and compassion as we support one another during this challenging time.
In June, Wilkins told Daily Mail Australia that his relationship with Hawkswell was going beautifully.
‘Life is good. I’m happy. Things are good,’ he said.
In his personal affairs, Wilkins is typically reserved, yet he commented, “It can be a tad unusual with folks peeking from bushes, but I guess it’s all right.
Last week, it was reported by Daily Mail Australia that a relationship exists between the Channel Nine star and Mia, as they were spotted together at Annika Martyn’s birthday celebration.
In the Instagram video posted by Annika, it appears that Richard exited a boat while holding hands with Mia.
Apart from sharing it on her Instagram Stories, Mia posted something mysterious as well. It depicted her raising a toast with an unseen gentleman, accompanied by the caption: ‘Love is all you require’.
It appears I’ve recently parted ways with my long-term companion, much like Richard who has ended his relationship with Nicola Dale after many years together.
Previously, Richard had been in a relationship with podcast host Nicola from Over The Back Fence for about four years. However, it was announced that they had parted ways in January.
