Richard Madden’s new movie confirms Prime Video release date

As a seasoned gamer of life’s cinematic universe, I must say that the upcoming releases have me more than a little excited! Richard Madden’s dual role in “Killer Heat,” set against the backdrop of a Greek island and a tangled love triangle, sounds like an intriguing plot twist. The star-studded cast, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and the brilliant minds behind House of Gucci and Bridge of Spies, promises a gripping tale indeed.

Richard Madden’s new movie has received an official release date.

“Killer Heat” is derived from Jo Nesbø’s 2021 short story titled “The Jealousy Man.” In this upcoming adaptation by Amazon Studios, Madden assumes the roles of both twins in a unique portrayal of two brothers.

The film unfolds on a picturesque Greek island and centers around twins portrayed by Madden who find themselves entangled in a dangerous love triangle marked by violence. As intrigue builds, a detective, famously known as The Jealousy Man (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), arrives to delve into the mystery.

Killer Heat is set to be released on September 26, on Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming film, which Philippe Lacôte is directing, will feature the talented Shailene Woodley among its cast members. Notably, Roberto Bentivegna, the acclaimed writer behind House of Gucci, and Matt Charman, whose work graced Bridge of Spies, have been entrusted with crafting the script for this intriguing production.

Madden most recently starred opposite Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the spy-thriller series Citadel.

In a new scenario, the characters Nadia Sinh, formerly known as Chopra Jonas, and Mason Kane, previously Madden, find themselves playing roles. These characters are once-distinguished agents whose memories were erased following the collapse of their organization, Citadel.

Intrigued by their fresh starts, I found myself unwillingly thrust back into the thrilling realm of covert operations for an international undertaking. As we tiptoe through our clandestine romance, my partner and I work tirelessly to thwart the emergence of a new global order.

It was announced in 2023 that a new season of the series would indeed materialize, with Madden and Chopra Jonas once again stepping into their beloved characters. Additionally, we can expect the return of Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville in the upcoming season.

In another location, the Italian spin-off titled “Citadel: Diana” has just revealed its initial teaser trailer, along with an officially announced launch date.
