Richard Madden shoots a gun as he and co-star Priyanka Chopra film dramatic car chase for season 2 for spy drama Citadel in London
As a seasoned observer of Hollywood’s glamorous world, I must say that Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ latest escapade in Saint Tropez is nothing short of mesmerizing. The way she effortlessly commands attention while balancing her personal and professional life is truly inspiring.
On Monday, Richard Madden along with his fellow actor Priyanka Chopra shot an intense car chase sequence for the second season of the Amazon Prime spy series, Citadel, right here in London.
38-year-old Scottish actor fired a fake gun from his moving car at the fictional adversaries of his character, then swiftly drove away along the Canary Wharf street.
Simultaneously, Priyanka, aged 42, remained on the outskirts observing the scene unfold, as another performer acted out being shot and fell dramatically to the ground.
In the series, Richard, portraying secret agent Mason Kane, exuded coolness while wearing sunglasses, as he casually leaned from the car’s passenger seat.
Meanwhile, with a relaxed appearance in denim pants and a suede coat, it was Priyanka who portrayed her character Nadia, the comrade and lover of Mason.
The first series of the spy drama was one of the most expensive television shows ever created.
In the initial season, Mason and Nadia stumble upon a perilous group known as Manticore, only to have their memories erased. As a result, they lead their lives unaware of each other’s identities.
Eight years down the line, Bernard (Stanley Tucci) finds himself in a predicament where he urgently requires the aid of Citadel’s elite agents. However, the task at hand is challenging as he must persuade these operatives, who no longer recall their past deeds, to join forces once more.
The initial Citadel, jointly overseen by Priyanka, is an action-packed spy series created for Amazon’s Prime Video, with the Russo Brothers from Marvel Cinematic Universe serving as executive producers.
Series one of Citadel had six episodes.
In March 2023, just prior to its premiere, it was confirmed that Citadel would return for a second season. Additionally, it was revealed that Dan Russo would be in charge of directing every episode.
Principal photography for the primary series kicked off in January 2021 and concluded by December 2022. Yet, additional filming sessions took place in both early and mid-2022, under the guidance of creator David Weil, the Russo brothers, and Thomas Sigel, who directed the first season.
After Nick Jonas, Priyanka’s spouse, left the United Kingdom and journeyed towards Milan and Barcelona to carry on with the European leg of the Jonas Brothers world tour.
Before their hectic work schedules took over, Priyanka, Nick, and their daughter spent some precious moments together on a luxurious trip to Saint Tropez earlier this month.
