While filming began in York, the 67-year-old actor sported a surprising new look – a curly, voluminous hairstyle – a far cry from his typical appearance.
Richard has also ditched the razor for his role and sported a dramatic bushy moustache.
He transformed into the role by dressing the part: a long wool coat over a red apron and a crisp shirt.
He will star as Mr. Hopkins in a new Christmas comedy scheduled for release in 2026.
