67-year-old actor posted Instagram photos and videos from a party, featuring 72-year-old songwriter dancing enthusiastically, celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary with wife Trudiem, who is also 70 years old.
Richard posted stunning videos showcasing the breathtaking landscape surrounding his property, and as the day ended, he and Sting’s family members enjoyed the festivities for the anniversary celebration.
Additionally, Sting’s children Mickey and Giacomo, along with their child Eliot Sumner (who uses they/them pronouns), and Mollie Davis, were also part of the group.
Following an evening filled with dance, the gathering was rewarded with a breathtaking fireworks show. Richard managed to snap the tender scene where Sting hugged Trudie, both of them relishing the beautiful panorama.

Tonight, we honored the 32-year milestone of their marriage at Il Palagio in Tuscany, surrounded by Sumner Mickley, Eliot Sumner, Mollie, Giacomo, and many dear friends. Their unwavering loyalty, kindness, and love were commemorated.
Sting and Trudie produce and preserve their homemade wines at Il Palagio vineyards, employing organic farming techniques.
Since the year 2000, they’ve been successful in reestablishing 11 hectares of vineyards, yielding a total of four different red wines.
As a devoted connoisseur, I can’t help but be enamored by their exquisite vintages, each one boasting a name that stirs my soul: “Message in a Bottle,” “Casino delle Vie,” “Sister Moon,” and “When We Dance.”
There is also a shop on the estate offering products including olive oil and honey.
The beautiful grounds are available for hosting weddings and private events, featuring six cottages capable of accommodating up to 50 guests.
As a devoted follower, I delight in sharing that this exquisite 900-acre Italian estate offers a plethora of delights for up to 200 fellow revelers. Three years have passed since the death of Joan Washington, who was Grant’s wife of 35 years and Olivia’s mother, due to her long fight against stage four lung cancer, and now they are commemorating this event.
Sadly, dialect coach Joan, at the age of 75, passed away eight months following her diagnosis with the ailment.
In October, Grant publicly acknowledged his daughter’s upcoming marriage, as he posted four pictures featuring Olivia, Herbst, and the impressive diamond ring she was sporting.

Cambridge educated Herbst, an Austrian financier, currently works as Head of Corporate Finance at Village Hotels.

Additionally, Grant shared that his longing for Joan intensifies particularly during the winter season, especially around Christmas time and their anniversary in November.
In 2023, he shared with Radio Times, “November 1st marks our wedding anniversary, while Joan celebrates her birthday on December 21st. Following that, we have Christmas Day, and then Olly’s [his affectionate name for his daughter Olivia] birthday falls on January 4th.”
In the previous year, Olly and her companion, Florian, graciously extended an invitation for me to explore Venice, followed by a visit to his beloved family in the southern region of Austria. This incredible journey turned out to be nothing short of enchanting.
I’ve always cherished the warmth and beauty of tropical climates during the holiday season, so this year I decided to forgo the cold, damp London winters and escape instead to the sun-kissed shores of the Caribbean with my two closest companions. The thought of exchanging the hustle and bustle of crowded city streets for the rhythmic lullaby of ocean waves and the vibrant symphony of tropical birdsong is incredibly appealing, especially after a year filled with challenges and change. This decision to prioritize relaxation and rejuvenation over tradition will undoubtedly be a memorable experience that I’ll carry with me throughout my days, reminding me that sometimes, taking a step back from the norm can lead to some of life’s greatest treasures.
In November, the actor honored Joan, his wife since 1986, on the occasion that would have marked their 37th wedding anniversary.
