Mia Thornton, formerly a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” was arrested at the Atlanta airport on Wednesday. The arrest was related to allegations of theft from the apartment she shared with a roommate, following her move to Atlanta with her children earlier this year.
Atlanta police were sent to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday to pick up a person wanted by authorities, who was currently being held at the airport’s Customs and Border Protection office.

Another cast member of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ Wendy Osefo, is in legal trouble. She and her husband are accused of falsely reporting a break-in and theft that happened last year.
Police identified the woman as Mia Fields-Thornton, who was wanted by the City of Atlanta for allegedly stealing furniture. She was arrested peacefully and taken to the Fulton County Jail to be booked.
Police were notified of a theft by a property manager. The report states that Thornton and his roommate rented the condo but unexpectedly moved out in late October, taking all the furniture and a wall-mounted TV that were originally in the unit.
According to the report, Thornton lived with artist Jared McGriff. The property manager also supplied receipts that indicated the furniture and TV totaled $11,000 in value.
Police released body camera footage of Ashley Thornton, a former cast member on “Real Housewives of Potomac,” explaining that she wants her ex-partner to return some furniture. She told officers she’d repeatedly asked him to do so, sharing emails from her roommate about how unreasonable the situation had become.

Porsha Williams, a star on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ had a run-in with police at the Atlanta airport on Sunday. The incident happened after a disagreement on a flight from Las Vegas.
Thornton said “he” had the key to a storage unit, presumably where the items were being kept.
Mia Thornton, age 40, split from her husband, Gordon, in 2023. She then dated radio personality Incognito for a year before they ended their relationship. Surprisingly, Mia and Gordon got back together on New Year’s Eve. She now describes their relationship on Instagram as a successful co-parenting arrangement, even calling Gordon the “#bestexhusbandever.”
