Previously known Real Housewives of New York City cast member, Ramona Singer, encountered criticism following the sharing of a bright video from her vacation in Florida, while Los Angeles was battling disastrous wildfires.

Fires that have caused 10 deaths and led to the evacuation of more than 130,000 people, have impacted numerous individuals in Ramona’s celebrity network, among them Bozoma Saint John from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who sadly lost her $5 million Malibu residence.

68-year-old TV personality, who has faced controversy before following allegations of using a racial slur that led to their dismissal from Bravo, received criticism last Friday over a post that was perceived as insensitive by many.

The situation escalated as Ramona posted a video from her oceanfront balcony, appreciating the ‘stunning Florida sunrise’, and expressing her joy with, ‘What an amazing start to the day! I’m so content.’

Her comment wasn’t very useful, saying: ‘It’s a lovely day to start the day… unluckily, folks in California are unsure about what their day holds.’

Supporters swiftly filled up the comment section below the re-post, with one joking, “What makes Ramona suddenly consider others now? #Insensitive.

A different supporter commented, “This behavior is so typical of Ramona – she’s simply unbearable at times,” and another person joined in by saying, “Ramona always seems to find a way to act inappropriately…

Another commentator expressed it directly: ‘She doesn’t lack sensitivity to others’ feelings. Instead, this reflects her character, which appears quite self-centered.’

For several years now, the proprietor of True Faith Jewelry has been entangled in a controversy over alleged racial intolerance. As a result, they were also dropped from the list of participants for BravoCon in 2023.

However, the star has now admitted that fame just wasn’t for her.

The former Real Housewife expressed that she had never enjoyed being well-known, as it seems that the adage holds true: fame isn’t as great as people often think, she shared with Us Weekly during the 26th Annual Angel Ball in New York City in November.

On another note, it’s worth mentioning that Singer hasn’t expressed this viewpoint about her fame for the first time.

In March 2023, the singer shared with DailyMail.com that it’s been two years since their last TV appearance, and they feel more at ease and joyful as a result.

‘I don’t have to deal with negative things being put out there that isn’t true,’ she added.

In essence, I won’t be part of the show anymore as that opportunity has sailed past. Life, much like a relentless shark, requires constant progression. There are numerous exciting projects ahead that I’m eagerly anticipating.

2023 saw Singer once more in the limelight following an article in Vanity Fair alleging that she was a focus of multiple racial discrimination issues at Shed Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Bravo, and NBCUniversal.

In a shocking revelation, she faced allegations for employing a racial slur towards a black cast member on the Real Housewives of New York City, and for asserting that many black individuals lack active fathers in her explosive exposé.

All of the details of the messy situation were revealed in the in-depth report.

In 2021, it was reportedly confirmed by sources linked to Singer that the production company of Bravo had looked into an issue involving her, but she was found innocent and allowed to carry on with the series.

This characteristic delved deep into numerous controversies surrounding the ‘Real Housewives’, engaging in discussions with stars such as Bethenny Frankel and Leah McSweeney.

Starting from 2021, the Real Housewives of New York have made a comeback featuring a fresh lineup of personalities: Jenna Lyons, who was once the president of J.Crew, fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, and Erin Dana Lichy, a real estate agent.
