RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice finally reveals why she no longer talks to her brother Joe Gorga
As an ardent fan of the Real Housewives franchise, I’ve been through the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with watching these women navigate their complex relationships. But Teresa Giudice’s latest revelation about her strained relationship with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa has left me heartbroken.
Teresa Giudice, a reality TV personality from Real Housewives of New Jersey, explained the reason behind her current estrangement from her brother Joe Gorga and his spouse, Melissa Gorga.
On a recent episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables, the 52-year-old television figure discussed the ongoing saga within her family.
She shared that she no longer communicates with her brother or his spouse, stating, “Who among our family would go on a talk show without telling me first? I’ve held my peace. There are many things I could have discussed during these past ten years.
Eventually, she asserts that her sister-in-law, aged 45, failing to attend her wedding with husband Luis Ruelas, irreparably damaged their relationship.
The individual stated, “They were fabricating various reasons, such as ‘You weren’t included in the wedding.’ I didn’t include my sister-in-law in the ceremony, not because it was required but because of the way she has treated me over the past decade.
She continued: ‘Then … I was like, “Let me just put her in.” I was trying to do the right thing and then she said “no.” I was like, ‘Oh my God, they’re just doing this all for a storyline.’
Giudice said there isn’t any ‘going back after that.’
The reality star expressed, “I’ve had enough of their nonsense. I won’t be participating any longer. I’ve had my fill,” she said, referring to the many opportunities she had given them for more than a decade.
The play prevented Giudice and Melissa from appearing on the same set during season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
In August, she stated that fans would never see her and Melissa on camera together again.
‘Never again. Never Again. First of all, to me, family is so sacred,’ she said during an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Sirius XM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast. ‘You never go against the family. I live by that. I stand by that. I’m a loyal person.’
Judge Guidice mentioned that she had forgiven them since her parents were present, and she didn’t wish to hurt them.
She shared that her parents were taken aback, expressing disbelief with exclamations of “What?”. She and her brother had been inseparable, never experiencing conflict, and enjoyed a strong bond as best friends. However, something changed between them, which she traced back to the show’s impact.
In simpler terms, the show’s host of “Live with Kelly and Mark” inquired whether it was the Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) that ignited the conflict between Teresa and her sibling and spouse-in-law.
It seemed as though there was a hint of envy because I was on the show instead of them, and they were expressing possession over it, almost saying, “This belongs to me.
It seems as if it would have been quite magnificent if we could have presented a unified image, demonstrating not only to America but also to the world, that rather than engaging in conflict, such discord is, in my opinion, regrettable and disheartening.
‘I tell my daughters, I beg my daughters. I’m like, “Please always get along. That’s the only thing I only ask for is I want you four to always love each other and if somebody has something more than the other, you know, you guys enjoy it.”’
Teresa added: ‘You should all be happy for each other and lift each other up, you know?
Meanwhile, there may be big changes in store for the cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
On his Andy Cohen Live radio broadcast for SiriusXM, Cohen hinted at possibly replacing the entire cast with new actors during a conversation with an upset caller, as they discussed their dissatisfaction with the current show’s cast and plotline.
The woman, who complained that RHONJ is ‘so boring now’ and said she wanted to see longtime star Melissa and newcomer Margaret Josephs jettisoned in favor of keeping Teresa, wasn’t initially mollified after Andy said there would be ‘big new changes to the show.’
Following the caller’s persistent stream of criticisms about the ongoing series, Andy intervened by saying, ‘We plan on restarting the program from scratch.’
‘We’re gonna reboot it,’ Cohen continued. ‘We’re gonna do something different.’
The caller continued as she talked up Teresa’s presence on the series, before Andy seemed to try to wrap up the rant.
The host of Watch What Happens Live, appearing a bit frustrated, replied, “Alright, I understand. Let’s figure out our next steps. We’ll decide what to do.
‘I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces. We’ll see,’ he added.
