RHOBH star Erika Jayne’s new Army veteran boyfriend nicknamed ‘Shrek’ as her ex Tom Girardi heads to prison

According to reports, Erika Girardi, popularly known as Erika “Jayne” from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is rumored to be dating John McPhee, a former U.S. Army special operations sergeant major, as her prolonged divorce from her second husband Thomas Girardi, currently incarcerated, approaches its fifth year.

On Monday, photographs were acquired by the American media outlet, The U.S. Sun, depicting Erika, who celebrates her birthday on Thursday and is 54 years old, strolling around Los Angeles with Thomas, the 54-year-old founder of SOB Tactical, while they ran errands together.

John is a father to two fully-grown offspring. One of them, his son, chose a similar path by joining the U.S. Army just like him. Over time, John has experienced multiple divorces.

As a lifestyle guide, let me tell you, the journey can be challenging at times. It feels tough due to the lack of understanding regarding the depth of my dedication and passion. I shared this insight during an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show on May 26th.

And I contend that, in essence, you’re repeatedly making choices that could potentially lead to your demise. Most people wouldn’t consider such actions rational, yet they fail to grasp the situation fully. Am I making myself clear?

I guess I’d compare being married to serving a sentence in prison. Just like with a phone call from behind bars, you can communicate with your spouse, but don’t expect to be released anytime soon…That’s what marriage is like in the Army.

The individual who referred to himself as the ‘Sheriff of Baghdad’ pointed out: ‘Those men who had strong and resilient relationships were the ones whose marriages weathered the storm of the war.’

Recently, John has taken up the role of Heidi Montag’s security personnel during her performances. He can often be spotted wearing a ‘Team Heidi’ t-shirt with pride.

In 2011, McPhee concluded his 20-year military career, during which he served tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Since then, he has been frequently sharing his knowledge with civilian organizations, law enforcement agencies, and military forces across the globe.

In the past, Jayne (originally known as Chahoy) was married for five years and raised a 32-year-old LAPD officer named Thomas Zizzo Jr. Their marriage concluded in 1996. This was her first union with disc jockey Thomas Zizzo.

The singer from Dominos got married to Girardi 21 years ago. Recently, Girardi was sentenced to 87 months in prison because it was claimed that his law firm took more than $15 million from clients illegally between the years 2010-2020.

In a recent court case, an 86-year-old former attorney, currently battling dementia and Alzheimer’s, was penalized with a fine of $35,000 and mandated to repay approximately $2.3 million as restitution, following accusations of fraud.

While Tom was being sentenced, Erika’s performance in London took a 5% dip compared to her previous show, as she found herself preoccupied with feelings of self-pity.

On the June 13th edition of my podcast, Diamonds in the Rough with Teddi Mellencamp, I shared that it’s a real source of pain for me.

‘It brings back old emotional scars, something that reminded me of when I had a packed audience who adored me in a theater – a moment I was deeply thankful for. My most blissful spot on earth is performing on stage. So, even though I was happy… there was a part of me that felt a bit disheartened.’

In 2022, it was decided by a judge in a $5 million civil fraud case that the accusers failed to provide sufficient evidence to prove that “The Masked Singer’s Yorkie” was aware of or participated in the accused fraudulent activities.

Last Saturday, Erika took the stage at LA’s Kia Forum alongside the Scissor Sisters to aid them in their performance of the 2012 hit song ‘Let’s Have a Kiki’. This was during the band’s 37-date joint tour with pop sensation Kesha, known as the Ts Out Tour.

Jayne has been diligently working on the 15th season of her Bravo reality series, where fashion designer Rachel Zoe makes her first appearance and Garcelle Beauvais takes her leave.
