Drew Sidora, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is facing a more contentious divorce as details of her monthly income have surfaced. This comes after she expressed concerns about potentially becoming homeless if she has to leave the home she shared with her soon-to-be ex-spouse next month.
The 40-year-old actress and reality TV star is going through a contentious divorce with her husband, Ralph Pittman, and details about their finances that have come to light are raising some eyebrows.
Sidora and her husband, who is 43, have been going through a difficult divorce process. She filed in February 2023, but it hasn’t been finalized after over three years.
The couple has two children together: a ten-year-old son named Machai and an eight-year-old daughter named Aniya. Sidora also has a thirteen-year-old son, Josiah, from a previous relationship.
A judge recently ruled that Sidora must move out of the home she shares with Pittman. However, Sidora has stated she can’t afford a new place and fears she and her oldest child will become homeless if the court doesn’t change its decision.
Court documents obtained by TMZ on Tuesday show that Sidora earns an average of $12,066 per month, while Pittman’s monthly income is around $71,524, before taxes and other deductions.
There’s a significant difference in income between the two people involved. Pittman works as a Client Director at Gartner, a research and consulting company, and is also a technology consultant and business executive.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Sidora has been ordered to move out of the home she shares with Pittman by May 31st. Pittman was also granted temporary custody of their children, with Sidora scheduled to have visitation on alternating weekends starting in August.
The report states the decision followed concerns that the children had missed a lot of school while primarily in Sidora’s care.
A spokesperson for Sidora stated last week that the case is still ongoing and currently in the final stages of trial. They emphasized that the current order is only temporary and doesn’t represent the ultimate decision in the matter.
Back in March 2023, it was revealed that the two had split after 9 years of marriage.
The reality TV star started divorce proceedings on February 27, 2023, at 1:10 PM in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Her soon-to-be ex-spouse filed his own divorce papers just 61 minutes later, according to TMZ.
Both Sidora and Pittman agree their marriage is beyond repair. They disagree on the exact date they separated – Sidora says February 23rd, while Pittman claims it was February 19th. This is despite appearing happy together at Pittman’s birthday party on February 13th.
A representative for Sidora shared with the Daily Mail that the Pittmans allowed viewers to witness their marital struggles and home renovations for three years.
Although they have their differences, they both agree that their marriage cannot be saved and they are choosing to separate.
Oh my gosh, before she was amazing on reality TV, Drew Sidora was already a star! I totally remember her as Chantel on ‘That’s So Raven’ – she was hilarious! It was back in season 3, around 2004 and 2005, and she was just so good. I was obsessed with that show, and she was definitely one of my favorite parts of it!
Besides her music career, she played Tionne Watkins in the 2013 VH1 movie about TLC, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. She’s also appeared in the films White Chicks (2004) and Step Up (2006).
She joined the main cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta beginning season 13 in 2020.
Season 17 of the highly-popular Bravo show is currently airing on Sunday nights at 8pm.
