Rhian Sugden reveals her son George, 14-months, has caught hand, foot and mouth disease as she asks fans for help
Rhian Sugden revealed her son George has caught hand, foot and mouth disease on Saturday.
The model, 38, shared an update to her Instagram Story and asked her followers for some tips.
Rhian welcomed George, her first child, with her husband Oliver Mellor in April last year.
She shared an image of her 14-month-old’s rash, mentioning in her message: ‘My toddler seems to have acquired hand, foot, and mouth disease at nursery.’
‘Spoken to the Dr but if anyone has any tips to settle him… fire away.’
Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease (HFMD) is an illness caused by a virus that often results in blister-like sores appearing on the hands, around the mouth, and soles of the feet.

Additionally, the virus may lead to ailments similar to the common flu, including a scratchy throat, stomach issues like diarrhea, potential dehydration, and decreased hunger.
Since antibiotics won’t help, the illness usually runs its course without treatment for about 7 to 10 days. Patients just need to wait it out.
Rhian invested more than a quarter-million pounds across five years, undergoing eight tough rounds of In Vitro Fertilization, eventually leading to her pregnancy.
I, overwhelmed with passion, bared my soul about my grueling path towards becoming a mother, confiding that I struggled with the heavy burdens of depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder during my attempts to conceive.
She expressed that she found days like Mother’s Day or when friends announced their pregnancies difficult, as they weren’t positive experiences for her. She admitted to feeling trapped in a kind of mental conditioning.
Every month when I was menstruating, I’d often think, “Oh no, not pregnant again,” and then feel down for the remainder of the month.
Rhian mentioned that she and Oliver had convinced themselves they wouldn’t be able to have children, so they began planning for a fulfilling life without offspring.
Following her long-awaited pregnancy, she couldn’t help but exclaim that their son is nothing short of a marvel, and she yearns to conceive another child at the earliest opportunity.

She expressed: “I’m absolutely cherishing pregnancy. It feels like a wonder and has been helping me overcome my pain. I told Oliver, ‘It’s unbearable to think that this might be my last pregnancy; we need to try again.’
I’m considering attempting IVF once more to welcome a second child. Although I’m not yet advanced in age, I feel the need to act promptly because time seems to be moving quickly for me, so I’d prefer to begin the process as soon as possible.
‘I’d love to leave a gap but I can’t afford to wait too long.’
The TV host’s OnlyFans account covered the cost of her £150,000 In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure. Earlier, Rhian had disclosed that she could make as much as £1,000 per day by sharing topless or nude content on this platform.
She told The Sun: ‘I’ve got good boobs and I’m not ashamed of OnlyFans.
‘I’ve made more money on OnlyFans than I have in my whole career.
She mentioned that numerous photos of her without a top are widely available, and she wondered, “Why not?” She explained that she was making several thousand dollars each day from them.
‘Ollie finds it strange and odd that so many men are willing to pay money for the sight of his wife’s breasts, and yet he reaps the advantages of In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).’
