RGG Summit Scheduled For Next Month With What’s Next For Like a Dragon/Yakuza
As an avid gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the anticipation for the RGG Summit is palpable! With the Tokyo Game Show around the corner and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and SEGA at the helm, I’m eagerly waiting to uncover what lies ahead for the Like a Dragon series. The teaser of ‘Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’ was just the tip of the iceberg, and I’m hoping for more than just a spin-off or something else – here’s to a mainline sequel!
As the Tokyo Game Show approaches (September 26th – 29th), Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the creators of Like a Dragon/Yakuza, along with SEGA, have announced that they will conduct the upcoming RGG Summit prior to the main event.
Likely, the showcase will give us a sneak peek into the future of the Yakuza (Like a Dragon) series after its previous installment, “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth,” was released in January. It’s unclear yet if it will be a major sequel, spin-off, or another type of game. However, we are certain that the next Like a Dragon game will be unveiled at Tokyo Game Show 2024.
The RGG Summit is set for this coming Friday, September 20th at 11pm British Summer Time (BST), 12pm Central European Summer Time (CEST), or 6am Eastern Time (ET). You can catch the event by tuning in via the YouTube live stream provided below, or through SEGA’s Twitch channel. Will we finally learn what ‘Yakuza Wars’ entails? Fingers crossed! Whatever it may be, it looks like you’ll be in for a surprise.
