Reverend Richard Coles, 62, admits he once burnt himself while having sex in a burger van on the side of the road in the Midlands

Reverend Richard Coles has revealed he once burnt himself while having sex in a burger van.

A Church of England priest, aged 63, has reminisced about an incident prior to his clerical career, where during a casual encounter with another individual, their hands accidentally brushed against a hot griddle within a parked vehicle situated in a lay-by in the Midlands, England.

In a heart-to-heart chat on Rylan Clark’s “Being in Love” podcast, I shared a light-hearted moment about my past. I quipped to the ever-entertaining host that my current food hygiene practices are significantly improved compared to my wilder days.

He confessed: ‘For a while, I lived an exceptionally engaging and active life… I encountered casual sexual encounters, which were not common, along the highway system of the Midlands region.’

Rylan chimed in: ‘Dogging?’

‘Well we didn’t call it that then. It was meeting people in lay-bys’, Richard replied.

He went on saying, “Indeed, it happened exactly as I said. There was a man, I recall distinctly. Oh, it’s such a pity. Outside, there was a food truck selling burgers, and unfortunately, I found myself in a relationship with the burger vendor.

He closed up his burger van’s shutters and it swayed slightly.

Or,

He needed to pull down the shutters of his burger van and it moved a little.

Rylan pointed out: ‘That must have been dangerous with that griddle.’

Richard admitted, “Indeed, I accidentally touched a hot surface again, specifically a griddle. It resulted in a burn. Moreover, I should mention that the food safety standards seem to be improving.

Richard, known for his popularity with the 1980s bands Bronski Beat and The Communards, disclosed that he has a permanent ban from Avis rental cars. This ban came about following an incident where he engaged in inappropriate behavior while under the influence of ecstasy and LSD in Ibiza.

The reality TV personality elaborated, “Our band, The Communards, achieved its peak, and since then, we’ve been on a break – one that has lasted for 35 years now.

At that point, I experienced a fusion of music, partying, and hedonism, which greatly appealed to me. Subsequently, I decided to take a break and travel to Ibiza. For quite some time, I reveled in this lifestyle, enjoying it immensely.

One time during a hot summer, I joined a group of friends on an adventure. We decided to explore the world in an unconventional way, trying various psychedelic substances such as ecstasy, LSD, and more. I still recall that our exuberance with these substances led us to be permanently banned from Avis rental cars due to excessive use of their vehicles.

‘Mavis from Avis, she was furious.’

Rylan needed to make sure he understood what Richard said, so he asked, “Hold on a minute! Did you say I’m banned from Avis?

Richard confirmed: ‘Yeah, for life.’

The former pop star also bought a speedboat, and he does not know its whereabouts.

Richard said: ‘I bought a speedboat and I don’t know where it is.’

After Richard disclosed that he’s started using the weight-loss injection Ozempic for his birthday, he referred to it as a “gift I’m giving to myself.

For a while now, these injections have been celebrated as a significant advancement in our battle against obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Currently, the previous star from the Communards has stated that he chose this medication primarily due to being overweight and desiring to shed some pounds.

The former Church of England vicar has not yet suffered any unpleasant side effects.

He shared with The Independent that he opted for Ozempic as a birthday gift to himself, given his excessive weight and the desire to shed some pounds. It’s a concern for him since it seems to impact his overall health.

‘I could do it the regular way but realistically if I’m very busy I need all the help I can get.

I’m experiencing an unusual sensation in my stomach; it’s not uncomfortable but rather, it’s causing me to have less of an appetite than usual. It appears that my appetite is reduced.

I expressed: “I’m determined not to rely on anything for maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding anything that could potentially put my health at risk.

I aim to reach a healthy weight and sustain it naturally, without relying on medications. My goal is to shed approximately 14 kilograms in total.

Approximately half a million NHS patients and around 15 million individuals in the U.S. are currently believed to be utilizing weight loss injections. These injections may assist patients in shedding as much as 20% of their body weight within only a few months.

They have also been shown to significantly reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

On the other hand, potential adverse effects span a broad spectrum, encompassing symptoms such as nausea, stomach discomfort, serious gastrointestinal problems, and in some cases, even bone pain.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve come across individuals who have experienced various side effects from the vaccinations, such as digestive issues like constipation, feelings of tiredness, headaches, lightheadedness, and in some cases, unusual hair loss.
