Revenge of the Savage Planet is a Sequel to Journey to the Savage Planet Coming in 2025

As a seasoned gamer with decades of intergalactic adventures under my belt, I must say the announcement of Revenge of the Savage Planet has me positively buzzing with anticipation! The first game was a delightful blend of humor, action, and exploration that resonated deeply with my cosmic soul.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but get pumped up when I hear that Raccoon Logic, who used to go by Typhoon Studios, is cooking up a sequel to the quirky sci-fi adventure, “Journey to the Savage Planet,” scheduled for release in 2025!

“The sequel to the popular series, titled ‘Revenge of the Savage Planet,’ delivers everything you adored from the original game, amplified across all aspects. Expect more diverse planets, improved gear, a variety of quirky creatures, increased humor, biting satire, and a shift to third-person perspective.”

The upcoming game begins when you’re abruptly removed from your space colonization assignment, as the authorities deem space exploration excessively difficult and costly. Consequently, you’re left jobless and put into a 80-year long cryosleep. Upon awakening, you find yourself stranded on an alien planet with minimal resources, relying mostly on your intelligence to stay alive.

To start your journey, gather whatever resources you find to create new equipment to help you leave this planet. You’ll have the opportunity to explore four hostile planets, each teeming with unique alien plants and creatures. Your Kindex will serve as a catalog for these discoveries as you navigate through these planets from a third-person perspective. This adventure can be undertaken alone or in cooperation with others, either locally or online. Cross-play support allows players on different platforms to join together in this shared experience.

Looking forward to even more witty corporate humor, additional running, firing, leaping, dodging, slipping, character customization, and perhaps a new planet (could be number five), Revenge of the Savage Planet is set to arrive on Xbox, PlayStation, PC (and potentially Nintendo Switch) around 2025. You can watch the announcement trailer below for a sneak peek.
