Revenge of the Savage Planet Gets a May Release Date, Day One via Xbox Game Pass
Developer Raccoon Logic has revealed that the follow-up to 2020’s “Journey to the Savage Planet”, titled “Revenge of the Savage Planet“, is set to release this May. This news may not be unexpected, as a May launch window was confirmed back in December. However, we now have a concrete and definite launch date for your calendar.
Once more, you find yourself assuming the role of a stranded astronaut and ex-employee of the nameless corporation Alta Interglobal, abandoned on an alien planet(s) that shares its name. With neither occupation nor plan, your objective is to return home by utilizing all available resources, collecting supplies, and crafting essential items for survival.
In this game, you’ll be able to summon cannons, lassos, pistols, forks (magnetic), and other tools. You can then enjoy the action with a companion in cross-platform cooperative play online or split-screen cooperative play locally. Instead of just one world, there are four distinct ones to discover, as you traverse them by running, jumping, shooting, stomping, sliding, and dodging obstacles such as bosses, hostile creatures, and other challenges.
On the 8th of May, “Revenge of the Savage Planet” is set to debut on Xbox Series X|S (accessible via Game Pass on release day), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. However, those who opt for the Cosmic Hoarder Edition will gain early access three days prior, along with additional missions and items. Furthermore, pre-ordering or purchasing the game within the first month will award you the Cinco de Mayo Trash Panda DLC.
