Revealed: When Maura Higgins will arrive in Australia for I’m A Celeb – after throwing off fans with work trip to Las Vegas before jungle stint
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Maura Higgins is truly living her best life – and I mean that in the most enviable way possible! From partying it up in Las Vegas to rubbing shoulders with A-listers like Adele, this Love Island star knows how to live the high life. But fear not, I’m A Celebrity fans, for our girl Maura will soon be making her way Down Under to join the jungle fun!
I was positively certain that her thrilling jet-set adventure to Sin City was a sign she wouldn’t be making a surprise appearance on this season’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! After all, the whirlwind trip had me and countless other fans speculating it was a clever ploy to keep us guessing!
However, it’s expected that Maura Higgins, aged 33, will reach Australia soon without much delay. It seems she has been pushing the limits by enjoying weekend parties in Las Vegas, also known as Sin City.
According to an ITV representative, she is expected to arrive this week. The brand visit was previously scheduled, as Maura had already consented to it and it aligned with her planned arrival date for the Jungle.
For several weeks, there have been whispers that the Love Island celebrity, aged 33, might be participating in the popular ITV program, and recently, Maura has made efforts to mislead fans about this possible involvement.
Despite striving to enjoy every bit of opulence in her affluent life, Maura agreed to a sponsored vacation to Las Vegas by cosmetics company, Space NK, understanding that it might push the limits as she prepared for her journey to Australia.
Staying at the 500 dollars a night Palazzo at the Venetian Hotel, Maura was joined by the likes of Stacey Solomon and was flown out on Thursday first class to Las Vegas.
As a lifestyle expert, I must confess that my days have been filled with indulgent morning spa treatments, savoring calamari dinners at Nobu, and feasting on lobster at the Bellagio. However, I’m bracing myself for a drastic change in my dietary landscape as I prepare to embark on an Australian adventure. Instead of these luxurious meals, my days will now revolve around humble dishes of rice and beans.
Following Adele’s performance at her Las Vegas residency, when the artist known for Easy on Me paused her song to praise Maura for her fiery red outfit, the Love Island celebrity continued the evening by partying with friends.
Hinting at the last-minute nature of her upcoming journey to Australia, Maura playfully tantalized followers by sharing an airplane photo accompanied by the question, “Where am I going?
Later on, when it was discovered that she appeared in Las Vegas instead of Brisbane Airport as anticipated, fans speculated wildly, suggesting that she might have decided to leave the jungle prematurely.
But ITV knows she is too good a signing to let go.
In 2019, when she stepped into the Love Island villa with her straightforward, assertive attitude, ITV executives were pleasantly surprised, and the Irish contestant soon won over viewers’ hearts.
The network undoubtedly anticipates a similar strategy from Maura within the I’m A Celebrity jungle, as this would suitably position her as an exciting newcomer who can stir things up in the camp.
She is set to spend three weeks alongside figures such as supermodel Wag, Coleen Rooney (aged 39), N-Dubz’s Tulisa Contostavlos (aged 36), in a living arrangement that primarily consists of rice and beans, while camping amidst spiders and snakes for the duration.
Strictly’s Oti Mabuse and McFly singer Danny Jones are among the other signings this year.
