Revealed: The Risqué Item MAFS Producers Tried to Hide from Ryan’s House Tour

This week, groom Ryan Donnelly surprised bride Jacqui Burfoot with an assortment of eccentric trinkets, leaving her quite astonished.

Ryan welcomed Jacqui into his digs as Homestay Week continued on Tuesday night.

Nonetheless, Jacqui found herself shedding tears upon seeing Ryan’s residence, complete with a display of souvenirs from his worldwide journeys on a dedicated shelf.

Yet, among the displayed items, one particular piece caused discomfort for Nine. To maintain appropriate broadcast standards, the problematic object was pixelated when it appeared on the screen.

The item might be found sitting alongside a variety of unrelated items such as a miniature Darth Vader statue and a small golf cart keychain on the same shelf.

On Tuesday night, the intriguing piece continued to evade viewers, but today we finally unveil the answer to the puzzle.

To Daily Mail Australia, Ryan openly disclosed that the vague object he mentioned earlier turned out to be cases of ammunition.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I chanced upon some unique bullet casings during my recent getaway to the picturesque Hamilton Island.

I, overjoyed beyond words, eagerly anticipated unveiling my humble abode nestled in Sydney’s southwest to the radiant Jacqui. However, the sight of my living quarters left her in tears – a moment that will forever linger in my heart.

Ryan explained to the producers that he intends to let Jacqui witness him in his most authentic surroundings. He plans on displaying the finest accomplishments he has created for himself,” or simply, “He shared with the producers that he wants Jacqui to see him in his real setting and show her the best of what he’s personally made.

He mentioned that if Jacqui wasn’t satisfied with his place, it could possibly end their agreement.

‘I did work very hard to get this place,’ he said.

‘If she’s not accepting of it, this relationship can’t progress.’

Similarly, Jacqui also appeared eager to learn more about her fiance, expressing her enthusiasm to the production team: “Absolutely, I can’t wait to see some of Ryan’s work!

It started off positively enough with Ryan and his pooch Freya enjoying a heartwarming reunion.

Initially filled with joy, Jacqui’s emotions swiftly transformed into fear and eventually tears upon discovering the inside of Ryan’s home.

As Ryan took Jacqui on a tour of his house she was left visibly upset at his choice of décor.

On the table, a goblet shaped like a skull was casually placed, holding various items, while nearby sat another skull, adorned with long locks and puffing on marijuana.

He then made special mention of a Japanese sword that took pride of place on a table.

‘That’s a 250 year old Edo period katana,’ he boasted.

‘As you can tell I’m pretty passionate about this type of stuff.’

1. Jacqui and Ryan didn’t find the item appealing, nor was the empty vision board or Ryan’s collection of travel memories captivating to them.

2. Neither Jacqui nor Ryan seemed to take a liking to the object; the empty vision board along with Ryan’s travel mementos failed to appeal to their senses.

3. Jacqui and Ryan didn’t feel connected to the item, as well as Ryan’s vacant vision board and his collection of global memories fell flat for them.

4. The artifact held no charm for Jacqui or Ryan; neither did Ryan’s blank vision board nor his collection of travel keepsakes resonate with either of them.

5. Neither Jacqui nor Ryan were impressed by the item, and the empty vision board along with Ryan’s mementos from around the world failed to strike a chord in their hearts.

Moving Jacqui towards what seemed like a lounge area, he swiftly drew her attention to a bulky display case brimming with various knick-knacks.

‘This room, this is basically Ryan’s room,’ he said proudly, before motioning toward the display.

As a lifestyle expert, let me share an interesting insight from my recent travels: During my extensive global journey, I designed a unique piece showcasing a symbol from each nation I visited. So, for instance, if you take a glance over here, that’s where I displayed this incredible collection!

‘So, that stein is from Germany. There’s an Eiffel Tower and a sword from the tower of London.’

Sensing Jacqui’s discomfort, Ryan added: ‘It’s not quite hoarding. It’s memories.’

Jacqui showed little interest in Ryan’s assortment of souvenirs from around the world, but unexpectedly, she began crying when sharing the story with the production team.

She expressed sympathy towards Ryan, saying, “It was quite revealing to see his living conditions, and it made me cry.

‘I just think he’s been alone here for seven years and maybe he isn’t aware of how lonely he is.

The situation strongly evokes a sense of solitude experienced by many senior citizens, who often spend extended periods, such as seven, ten, or even fifteen years, living independently.

Jacqui then condescendingly praised Ryan for being proud of his home and its contents.

‘It was so sweet of him to be so confident and so happy to bring me in,’ she said.

In the heat of the episode, I found myself taking on a mission – a secret life reorganization for none other than Ryan. He just stepped out for a quick run to the store, oblivious to the impending transformation!

She swiftly populated Ryan’s ‘board of ideas’ with chores for him to accomplish, such as washing his bed linens and replenishing the toothpaste.

Despite seeming to handle the situation jovially to steer clear of another argument with his wife, he showed a different side during discussions with producers.

‘We’ve been butting heads back and forth and that does drain you,’ he said to camera.

I’m staying put, maintaining an open and hopeful outlook, but if she persists in attempting to alter my essence, it becomes challenging to envision a future under those circumstances.

Before the episode aired, Jacqui described Ryan’s home as ‘grotty’ in an Instagram post.

Additionally, it came to light that she needed an Airbnb as her own apartment in Manly was not large enough and shared with two roommates for filming his visit. She argued in defense of this arrangement being imposed on the producers.
