I was shocked to read in The Daily Mail that one of the couples from the last season of Strictly Come Dancing was actually having an affair! Apparently, it happened right before the dancer ended their other relationship. It’s so scandalous, and I can’t believe they kept it hidden for so long!
Another scandal involving a romantic relationship between a celebrity and a professional dancer on the BBC dance show is adding to the difficulties faced by the show’s producers, who are already dealing with a crisis. The show has a reputation for causing relationship problems, often referred to as a ‘curse’.
This news follows reports that video has surfaced showing another celebrity, also married and previously on the show, kissing their dance partner in a suggestive way.
This news comes after long-time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced they will be leaving Strictly Come Dancing after the current season finishes.
A source revealed to The Mail that a celebrity had a brief romantic encounter with a dancer while in a relationship with someone else, and this has now become public knowledge.
We don’t know if their partner ever discovered what happened, but the relationship eventually ended, so it’s possible they did find out.

Throughout their time on Strictly, the dancing partners successfully hid their secret relationship from everyone else involved in the show – the other dancers, judges, and crew.
During the competition, people noticed a strong connection between the two, but other contestants believed it was simply a result of their intense training and the natural chemistry that often develops when people bond closely in that way.
Now that news of their affair has surfaced, people involved with the show say they recognize clues that were obvious during filming all along.
Our source added: ‘This just could not come at a worse time. People talk about the ‘curse of Strictly’ meaning that it kills off marriages and relationships – and goodness knows there have been plenty of those episodes.
Recently, it feels like the show is just plagued with problems – one issue keeps happening after another.
‘And it’s all overshadowing what is meant to be just an innocuous light entertainment show.
‘It’s come to light because secrets never stay quiet for long, especially with Strictly.’
The show faced controversy earlier this week when a video leaked showing a married celebrity kissing their dance partner. The video was reportedly kept secret.
It was said that the 12-second clip that ‘threatens to detonate Strictly.’
The report states that a member of the show’s production team secretly filmed a video backstage at Elstree Studios. They were shocked to see the couple being affectionate with each other inside their dressing room while the Saturday night show was being filmed.
Over the show’s twenty-year history, several couples have been romantically linked, leading to talk of a ‘curse.’ These include Natasha Kaplinsky and Brendan Cole, Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace, Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna, Joe Calzaghe and Kristina Rihanoff, Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev, Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff, and Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev.
The BBC show has come under increasing criticism recently due to serious allegations about its production and some of the professional dancers.
I was absolutely devastated when I found out Graziano was taken off the show! Apparently, he admitted to kicking Zara McDermott, his ex-partner, and he even said he ‘pushed’ her pretty forcefully during practice. It’s just… awful. I can’t believe it, honestly. It completely ruined everything for me, seeing that come out. I just don’t understand how someone could do that to someone else, especially someone as lovely as Zara.
Zara shared a statement online explaining that she witnessed some upsetting incidents during rehearsals and found it very difficult to re-watch them.
Following accusations from his former dance partner, Amanda Abbington, that he engaged in bullying and created a negative atmosphere, Giovanni Pernice was asked not to participate in the show again. This led to a thorough investigation by the BBC.
Last year on the show, Wynne Evans – known for his appearances in the Go Compare commercials – faced some controversy while dancing with Katya Jones.

During the launch of the Strictly Live Tour, Wynne was caught on camera using offensive and explicit language – specifically, the term ‘spit roast’ (referring to a sexual act) – when speaking about professional dancer Janette Manrara to his co-star, Jamie Borthwick.
The singer issued an apology and was then removed from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known for his role as Gladiator, and his dance partner Karen Clifton were eliminated from the competition during last week’s show.
The pair lost the dance competition, but drag queen La Voix and her partner Aljaž Škorjanec were kept in the competition thanks to a decision by the judges.
