Action comedy series FUBAR has returned on Netflix with new episodes.
In this show, it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger as the main character. The plot unfolds when he discovers that his grown-up daughter, unknown to him, is also a CIA agent. They eventually team up for a covert operation together.
Two years after the first season debuted, the second has dropped all eight episodes as of today.

The series also includes Monica Barbaro from “A Complete Unknown”, Milan Carter from “Warped”, Fortune Feimster from “The Mindy Project”, and Travis Van Winkle from “You”.
Following its premiere, the show FUBAR was swiftly reinstated for another season, boasting impressive viewership numbers amounting to 88.94 million hours within its initial four days on air.
Following the announcement of the series renewal, Schwarzenegger shared on social media: “I found it fascinating that so many viewers enjoyed the last episode. Interestingly enough, it’s my personal favorite too. Without spoiling anything, let me tell you there are some absolutely thrilling moments in store, and it definitely sets the stage for an exciting next season.
Initially, the first season of the series received somewhat varied feedback from critics, but it still managed to secure a 50% positive rating (fresh) on Rotten Tomatoes based on 58 critic reviews.
According to the Financial Times, this is a lighthearted, playful adventure aimed at saving the world filled with near misses, illogical storylines, and humorous relief. However, it doesn’t offer much else beyond that.
According to the Evening Standard, it’s typical material that provides an ideal platform for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return, yet it seems a bit like a missed chance.
In a particularly harsh critique, USA Today labeled the program as “a source of embarrassment”. They further stated that the series was filled with tired tropes, followed by awkward discomfort and eventually left viewers in a state of bewilderment. It seemed as if people were speaking, but it was hard to believe that humans penned such dialogue.
FUBAR seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Netflix.
