A recent interview revealed that Jules Neale wasn’t initially attracted to the man who eventually became her husband.
The 35-year-old woman, recently separated from a famous Australian Rules Football player, turned down Lachie Neale, now 32, when they first met during his teenage years.
In a September 2019 interview with Perth Now, Lachie shared that he and his partner were first introduced by a friend nearly ten years prior, when he was only 18 years old.
Jules apparently rejected her future husband at the time because of his boyish looks.
Lachie recalled first meeting Jules when he was 18, and he asked his teammate, Matthew Pavlich, to make the introduction.
‘He came back and said, “She’s not interested in an 18-year-old Harry Styles lookin’ kid”.’

It wasn’t until ‘about six years later’ that the pair reconnected and became romantically involved.
The couple got engaged in 2017 and married the following year.
After getting married, Lachie and his partner moved from Perth to Brisbane. This also meant a change in his football career, as he joined the Brisbane Lions after playing for Fremantle for seven years.
The Brisbane Lions midfielder dedicated his 2020 Brownlow Medal win to Jules.
‘My wife Jules, she’s an amazing human being,’ he said in his emotional acceptance speech.
Most people don’t realize she actually owned a salon in Perth before we moved to Brisbane. She had to sell it to join me and support my goals.
She was thriving, but she consistently prioritizes my needs over her own, even when it’s not appropriate.
The fairytale romance ended in tears last month.

Soccer fans were shocked when Jules revealed she’d been deeply hurt and publicly criticized a friend, Tess Crosley – a former Mormon missionary – on social media just before Christmas. She described the situation as a major betrayal.
Neale demanded Crosley remove photos of the Brisbane Lions’ grand final celebrations.
A screenshot of a now-deleted comment reveals Jules wrote: ‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself.’
Neale refuted reports that she and her now ex-husband were trying to resolve problems, claiming instead that she had experienced a deeply shocking betrayal.
‘I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,’ she wrote.
‘I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.’
There is no suggestion from the Daily Mail that Crosley has done anything improper.
Okay, so after everything that’s happened with Crosley and her marriage, her husband, Ben, just left! He and a bunch of his buddies are in Bali now, can you believe it? It’s like he just needed to escape after all the drama. I’ve been following everything so closely, and honestly, I’m shocked he’d go off to a tropical paradise right now! It’s just…wow. I need to know everything that’s going on over there, I’m obsessed with this whole situation!

He was seen at the upscale Bambu Fitness center in Uluwatu after working out with his friends, Tom Bennallack and Seth Mutton.
The finance director of New Heritage Investment, a company based in Hong Kong, was photographed smiling and shirtless with two friends after exercising. He shared the picture on his Instagram Story.
Ben and Tess Crosley are understood to have married back in 2017.
Last week, Lachie publicly apologized after his wife, Jules, moved back to Western Australia with their two children following their recent separation.
