The announcement for this game was made at the Anime Expo 2025. From what we know so far, Aniplex and JOYCITY will be teaming up to create it. Given the rich history of Resident Evil as both a video game and media empire, excitement is already building.
While Resident Evil has been a staple on mobile devices, it’s worth noting that most of the excitement was reserved for iOS users. They were the ones who got to enjoy the remakes of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7, and even Resident Evil Village on their handheld devices.
