Keighley announced that we’re about to make one more revelation, a truly extraordinary global game announcement, which has been eagerly anticipated. Throughout the day, we’ve presented numerous projects developed by teams worldwide, many of them new studios. However, this particular project hails from a studio that consistently delivers hit games.
Afterward, he reminisced about being utterly amazed the previous summer by the grandeur, breadth, and aspiration of the project. It was certainly possible for Resident Evil 9 to be unveiled in any location, but he feels incredibly privileged that it premiered at Summer Game Fest 2025.

Nathan hints that this place is where Grace’s mother was brutally killed eight years ago. Yet, it seems Grace may need to face her haunting past.
As reported by Capcom, the release of this game is expected for the following year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC through Steam. Players can anticipate a thrilling survival horror adventure with richly crafted characters as well.
