Renee Zellweger Reveals Why She Moved to California for Her Secretly Engaged Boyfriend!
Renee Zellweger shared how her romance with Ant Anstead influenced where she’s decided to live.
In a recent interview, the acclaimed, 55-year-old actress who has won awards, spoke with Hugh Grant (who starred alongside her in Bridget Jones’s Diary) for an upcoming edition of British Vogue.
She shared that she resides in the vicinity of San Diego, which is Southern California, as her longtime boyfriend, who is 45 years old, and his young son Hudson live there.
Anstead divides custody of their son with his ex-wife, Christina Haack, who is currently going through a divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall.
Ant is also shares daughter Amelie, 21, and son Archie, 18, with his ex-wife Louise Anstead.
It seems people speculate that Renee and Ant might be a married couple, since the well-known British TV personality occasionally refers to his partner as “my wife” on various social media updates.
In July 2023, according to The US Sun, this well-known figure in Hollywood shared with her friends that she and Ant were contemplating a wedding.
A confidential source revealed to the media back then that Renee and Ant prefer to keep their plans under wraps; they aren’t intending a grand public declaration.
She mentioned to her close friends that she’s planning their wedding. It’s going to be a quiet affair.
Her bond with Anthony is incredibly deep, and they are deeply enamored with each other. They eagerly look forward to their forthcoming marriage.
Previously, the Love was hitched to renowned country musician Kenny Chesney, but their marriage lasted only a brief span of four months before they parted ways in the year 2005.
Ahead of her short-lived marriage, she was engaged to Jim Carrey from 1999 to 2000.
Previously, there had been romantic rumors about the well-known entertainer and Bradley Cooper, whom she encountered during the making of the movie “Case 39” in 2009.
During their romantic relationship, she and the individual who has been nominated for an Oscar nine times ignited speculation about their engagement. However, they ultimately parted ways in the year 2011.
Zellweger was later in a long-term relationship with musician Doyle Bramhall II from 2012 to 2019.
From 2005 to 2017, Anstead was married to his first wife Louise. Later, in 2018, he got married again, this time to Christina Haack. Their son was born in 2019.
The couple divorced in 2021 and for months were embroiled in a messy public custody battle.
In April 2021, Anstead and Zellweger crossed paths during the production of his show, Celebrity IOU Joyride.
