Release date for Invincible season 3 reportedly leaks, and it's soon

As a devoted fan of Invincible, I can’t help but feel like a kid on Christmas Eve, with the knowledge that my most coveted gift is finally arriving in just over a year! The wait has been agonizing, but the leaked trailer has given us a tantalizing taste of what’s to come.

Initially, the early seasons of the Amazon Prime Video series based on Robert Kirkman’s superhero comic book “Invincible” have been well-received: sincere yet surprising, brutally violent and intricately complex, they’ve rapidly gained a devoted fanbase.

The main issue has been prolonged delays between new episodes. Specifically, over two years elapsed from the conclusion of season 1 to the premiere of season 2, followed by a four-episode release and then a hiatus for more than three months before the remaining four episodes were aired. Kirkman himself has acknowledged these extended gaps as “unpleasant”; however, since seasons 2 and 3 were filmed consecutively, there’s optimism that fans won’t have to endure such long waits going forward.

It appears that our anticipation will indeed come true! While it has vanished from the web, a clandestine trailer for the upcoming season has been circulating lately, and it brings us two pieces of positive information. Proceed with caution as there are SPOILERS below!

Great news! Here are the details:

We need to give a disclaimer that this information is leaked, which means and it’s neither 100% reliable nor especially ethical; I’m sorry Amazon couldn’t deliver the good news itself on its own terms, but I think the good outweighs the bad here. Also, the idea of a February release date lines up with what cast and crew members have said; Ross Marquand, who voices Rudy and the Immortal, predicted an early 2025 release date back in June. February 6, 2025 qualifies.

One pressing issue in the entertainment industry is ensuring that popular series return quickly for their new seasons. It’s almost expected to wait two years or longer for shows such as “House of the Dragon,” “The Rings of Power,” “Stranger Things,” and “The Boys” to air their next seasons, and with each passing day, there’s a greater chance that fans may lose interest. Although the February 6 date might not be accurate, Kirkman has emphasized his desire for “Invincible” episodes to appear more frequently, which is an important and worthy goal.
