Regé-Jean Page To Star in Netflix Erotic Thriller Hancock Park

Five years after its first season, Netflix is bringing back the star of the hit show . The British actor, known for his role as the Duke of Hastings, will return in a new erotic thriller, this time set in present-day Los Angeles instead of historical London.

The series, named Hancock Park after the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood, is moving forward quickly with a commitment for a full season from the streaming service. Jason Page will star as a captivating and mysterious newcomer who moves into the guest house of a seemingly ideal family in Los Angeles. Page will also executive produce the show through his production company, A Mighty Stranger.

The more he learns about this wealthy community, the more its perfect image starts to fall apart, revealing the hidden desires, lies, and fixations of those living in one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive areas, the description explained.

Emily Brown, who works with Page, will also be an executive producer through her company, A Mighty Stranger. They’re teaming up with Matthew Barry, a writer from the show Industry, as well as Fifth Season Productions and Drew Comins, an executive producer on Yellowjackets, and his production company, Creative Engine Entertainment. Filming hasn’t begun yet, so there’s no news on when the series might be released.

Once we completed the story, it would have been easy to get sidetracked and think, ‘The story went well, so let’s just make things up as we go along.’ But that wasn’t the agreement we made with ourselves.

In March, Page discussed the possibility of returning to the show, telling Entertainment Tonight that he was open to it if it meant continuing to be a part of the series’ story.

People are really achieving great things, and I’m thrilled to be a part of that, both with the show and my own work.

The first part of Bridgerton‘s fourth season will be available on Netflix starting January 29th, and the remaining episodes will be released on February 26th. The show has already…
