Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe lands her first lead role in new romantic comedy

Reese Witherspoon’s child is taking after her renowned mom by securing her initial leading part.

Ava Phillippe, aged 25, daughter of Reese Witherspoon’s former spouse Ryan Philippe, has previously appeared in minor roles in the series Doctor Odyssey and the film Ransom Canyon.

On a Monday, news emerged that the budding actor landed the lead role in “Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the screenplay originates from Mariko Tamaki’s popular graphic novel.

That 90s show actress Sam Morelos will co-star as Frederica ‘Freddie’ Riley.

The narrative unfolds within a high school, with Laura, who’s adored by all as the most prominent student, being Philippe’s ideal crush, known as Freddie’s dream girl.

‘She has it all — charm, confidence, and charisma,’ a synopsis of the plot reads.

In my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, let me share an engaging narrative: ‘However, one challenge arises in this tale – Laura Dean repeatedly ends things with me. This story traces Freddie’s path to mustering the strength to free herself from a harmful relationship, rediscover her self-worth, and embrace love for herself once more. Along her journey, Freddie leans on her cherished friends and even seeks guidance from a psychic.’

I Wish You All The Best director Tommy Dorfman will helm the project.

In her statement, she expressed that as they were looking for someone to embody Freddie, Sam entered the room with a unique, enduring charm that captured all of Freddie’s magic, emotion, and creativity. It became immediately apparent that Sam was the ideal choice to breathe life into this story.

Just like a bolt of lightning, Ava’s natural flair in portraying Laura Dean and the magnetic connection we shared on-screen was electrifying! Working alongside these two rising stars for my sophomore movie is an absolute dream come true – I’m beyond ecstatic!

Philippe expressed her enthusiasm about the announcement by re-posting the THR article on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by her personal good tidings.

She posted, ‘It’s happening! I can hardly contain my excitement to make you both disappointed,’ addressing Dorfman and Morelos in her message.

Additionally, she displayed certain resemblances to Laura, such as her pink-dyed hair and a picture depicting a character in a school outfit, bearing the label ‘deceiver’ instead.

‘Ava Phillippe is Laura Dean’ was written at the top of the composite.

The star’s friends expressed their congratulations.

‘Ready for you on the screen diva!,’ wrote a fan. ‘Yay Ava!! gonna be so good<3,’ said another.
