As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the arrival of John Marston on PC is nothing short of a game-changer! Having grown up playing on consoles, I’ve always felt a pang of envy whenever PC gamers would boast about their superior graphics and performance. But finally, it seems like the tables are turning!
John Marston is coming to PC!
2010’s blockbuster game by Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption, will soon be available on personal computers. On Tuesday, they officially announced that the much-anticipated PC version will launch on October 29th.
First introduced for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, this game was recently re-launched on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In a similar manner, the PC edition of Red Dead Redemption is set to be released with Undead Nightmare, a bonus storyline that revolves around zombies, just like the previous versions did.
In partnership with Double Eleven, the PC version of the game will boast numerous improvements. The standout feature is native 4K display compatibility at a smooth 144hz refresh rate. Additionally, the game will be compatible with Ultrawide and Super-Ultrawide displays. To ensure as many players as possible can enjoy the game, developers have incorporated support for Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation. This should make Red Dead Redemption an essential play for all PC gamers.
You can soon pre-order the game on various platforms like the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games. More specifics about the cost, necessary system requirements, and other relevant details will be shared at a later time.
