Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier: All roads lead to Paris
The Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier is scheduled for March 29th, happening right here in Vancouver, British Columbia. It’s going to be part of the Battle of BC 7 series. This tournament will see a total of four players competing in a double-elimination format.

Just one competitor will secure a trip to beautiful Paris. Once there, they’ll compete fiercely in the Red Bull Kumite Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) competition. Their objective is nothing less than earning a position at the 2025 Red Bull Kumite World Final’s 16-player invitational! Will Saul “MenaRD” Mena, winner of the 2024 Red Bull Kumite New York event, manage to hold onto his title this year in Paris?
Previously, Zhen emerged victorious at the Red Bull Kumite Canada National Final 2024, which is also recognized as the Red Bull Kumite Canada Qualifier. In a conversation with Xpsp, he expressed his excitement about attending Toronto’s Red Bull Gaming Studio in person, having only previously watched these events from home.
2024’s gathering featured gaming legends Michael Becker (also known as Mikex), Thunder De Langis (JOE UMEROGAN), and Amin Elsaad (Kaymin). They each shared insights with Xpsp during exclusive chats, discussing the Street Fighter series, the prevailing strategies at that time, and other captivating topics.
Battle of BC 7
The Battle of BC 7 tournament, which takes place from March 28 to March 30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, will serve as a qualifier for the Red Bull Kumite Canada event. Notably, Street Fighter 6 players are striving to make it to the 2025 Red Bull Kumite LCQ, but this event also includes other popular games like TEKKEN 8, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and additional titles.
