Red Bull Kumite 2025: Street Fighter 6 Legends vs Underdogs

In the world of SF6 esports, I find myself going head-to-head with some serious gaming legends. Although we’re grouped into teams, the fight for the ultimate glory and the coveted prize pool is a solo endeavor, with no allegiances or team bonds holding me back.

During the off-season for Street Fighter 6, there’s no shortage of high-tier competition. This time around, fans get to witness a unique event: an invite-only tournament taking place in Paris, France.

2025’s SF6 Red Bull Kumite promises a thrilling two-day tournament filled with fierce combat. Participating in this event are the true titans of gaming: champions from prestigious events such as the Capcom Cup, Evo, and other elite competitions.

14 participants have been invited by the organizers, split into teams labeled Legends and Underdogs. While the Underdog team might seem surprising to some, they’ve proven themselves capable of big wins in the past. One spot is reserved for the winner of the Play-In round, which concludes the global qualification series. Another participant will enter the fray after the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), a competition that takes place during the event itself.
