Reclusive Friends icon Matt LeBlanc seen on rare public outing days before Matthew Perry’s death anniversary

Matt LeBlanc was spotted out in public this week, shortly before the two-year mark since the passing of his “Friends” colleague, Matthew Perry.

The 58-year-old actor, known for keeping to himself, has spent recent years away from Hollywood, running a car dealership. He was seen out for a casual walk with his 21-year-old daughter, Marina.

After ten months out of the public eye, Jean-Luc LeBlanc was spotted stepping out wearing a red shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. He has greying hair and a beard.

Matthew Perry’s ‘Friends’ co-star, Joey Tribbiani, was spotted shortly before the two-year mark of Perry’s passing on October 28th.

Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the TV show Friends, sadly passed away in 2023 at the age of 54 due to an accidental drowning linked to ketamine use.

Le Blanc is now part-owner of RPM Motorcars, which is based in the LA neighborhood of Sherman Oaks.

Business documents filed in Delaware show LeBlanc has part-owned the business since October 2020.

New photos from Daily Mail show the famous actor working at the car dealership. His black Mercedes G-Wagon, worth $149,000, was also spotted in the parking lot.

Okay, so you HAVE to know about Marina! She’s Sebastian LeBlanc’s only daughter, his *only* kid with his ex-wife, Melissa McKnight. They were married for a few years, from 2003 to 2006, but it didn’t last. Still, Marina is everything to him, I just *know* it!

LeBlanc avoided our reporter when asked for a statement, but employees verified he works at the company.

News about LeBlanc’s new project arrives as he’s reportedly taking some time away from public life.

The actor hasn’t worked on any movies or TV shows since the Friends reunion on HBO in 2021, and had mentioned he was planning to take a break.

His last acting gig was as Adam Burns on CBS series, Man with a Plan, between 2016 and 2020. 

 

Lisa Kudrow, who starred in Friends alongside Matthew Perry, recently shared that the entire cast – including herself, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and LeBlanc – only came together once between the show ending in 2004 and their reunion on HBO Max in 2021. Despite being close during filming, they didn’t see each other much over those 17 years.

It was so special – we hadn’t all been together for dinner, just the six of us, since ‘Friends’ wrapped up! I was so excited to hear Lisa Kudrow talk about it on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s ‘Dinner’s on Me’ podcast. She admitted it had been a while, and it just made me so happy to know they’re still making an effort to connect.

Even though it had been a decade since the show ended, the actors quickly fell back into their old dynamic when they got together for dinner.

‘Just us at someone’s house and [we] had dinner, and like, didn’t miss a beat,’ Kudrow said.

Friends was a hugely popular and critically acclaimed show, receiving 62 Emmy Award nominations throughout its ten seasons.

The show was a big Emmy winner, taking home six awards, including the top prize for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2002. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox were also recognized with individual Emmys for their memorable roles as Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay.
