As a seasoned observer of reality television and a former contestant myself, I must say that this year’s I’m A Celebrity… camp seems to be a far cry from my time in the jungle. The luxuries doled out early on seem like a walk in the park compared to what we endured back then. Cranky campmates do indeed make for better television, but I suppose they need their comforts to keep going these days.

Recently, Rebekah Vardy has had a hectic period, spending time to exchange jabs with her fellow WAG rival, Coleen Rooney, who is participating in this year’s I’m A Celebrity show.

However, she set aside her issues with Coleen on Tuesday evening, focusing instead on attending the Premier League match between Leicester City, where her husband Jamie plays football, and West Ham.

At the King Power Stadium in Leicester, where the crowd gathered, was Rebekah, aged 42. The team secured a win of 3-1, and it was Jamie, 37, who netted two minutes into the game.

She wrapped up warm for the match in a camel coat and beanie hat and appeared in great spirits.

After Rebekah made remarks about Coleen potentially representing Butlins, the article she penned for The Sun followed, where she shared her thoughts on Coleen’s revelation in Monday’s broadcast regarding her fondness for caravan vacations, as a continuation of their rivalry.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I speculate that Colleen might have been vying for the role of the face of Butlin’s New Year campaign, sharing fond memories and experiences of her caravan vacations.

‘I know loads of people who have done this, and the kids absolutely love it.’

Additionally, she drew attention to another memorable moment from the performance, specifically when Alan spilled mess everywhere onto Colleen during their Bushmaster challenge.

Rebekah found it quite amusing, but her expression didn’t suggest the same, nor did Alan’s when she failed to catch it.

Rebekah was taken aback when Tulisa was the one who got voted out as the third campmate from the Jungle. She admitted honestly, “I truly didn’t anticipate that. I adored her. She possesses a wonderful personality, and I genuinely believed she would last till the end.

In 2017, it’s clear that being the third contestant eliminated from the show during her time in the jungle must have been quite emotional for Rebekah.

In contrast, Coleen is currently the bookies’ favourite to win the show.

A mom of four charmed viewers with her camp experience, and on Monday evening, she left her camp mates speechless when she revealed that she had unexpectedly fallen in love with Butlins, after impulsively taking her kids to the Skegness holiday resort.

She reminisced about their unexpected trip, saying, “The Butlins commercials were constantly airing on TV, so I decided to go. As it turned out, Diversity was performing there during the May half term, I believe.

38-year-old Colleen shared that her oldest child, Kai (age 14), thoroughly enjoyed their vacation. Upon returning to school, Kai excitedly informed his teacher that it was “the most fantastic trip I’ve ever been on.

Speaking about his recent vacation, Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall mentioned he’d gone on a caravan holiday twice prior to traveling to Australia. In response, Colleen shared that she and her partner Wayne, along with their kids, often go caravanning in Wales approximately twice a year.

Regarding the amusement at the caravan park, she noted, “Previously, there was a group known as ‘The Hut’ performing. Everyone would bring their own beer, and everyone would join in to sing a song!

Speaking highly of Coleen’s humble character, DJ Melvin Odoom remarked: “Coleen is very unassuming. I believe I’m more extravagant than Coleen!

On Monday, it seemed like Rebekah was becoming more amicable toward arch-rival Coleen, as she stated that no one in this year’s camp is playing a villain role and that everyone has been excessively kind.

Rebekah took several digs at Coleen through her jungle post, following their highly-publicized court battle that was famously called the Wagatha Christie case.

Instead, Rebekah refrained from expressing firm views, since she couldn’t identify anyone within the camp whom she thought was acting as a villain.

The star stated, “There are no truly difficult characters in this series, which I believe could be one of its issues, as it lacks formidable adversaries.

She added: ‘They have all been way too nice.’

Ever since Colleen ventured into the jungle, Rebekah has been openly critical of her rival, labeling her as “boring” and expressing a desire for her to consume a bull’s testicle.

Previously, Rebekah alleged that her competitor, Coleen, appeared to have an easier time in the I’m A Celebrity camp, compared to Rebekah’s experience on the same ITV program.

The celebrity mentioned that the prizes for this season’s cast were distributed prematurely, arguing that she barely had access to food during her initial week in the camp, implying scarcity.

She mentioned that this year’s participants are finding the show incredibly easy in comparison to her experience. During my time on the show, we barely received any food for the first week, and luxury items like home comforts were out of the question.

I don’t mind these individuals enjoying their luxuries prematurely, as they’re essential in the jungle for survival. However, ITV isn’t pushing them to earn it. The grumpy campmates create the most entertaining television.

In her latest post, Rebekah additionally expressed her views following Dean McCullough’s exit from the camp, as he was the second celebrity to be dismissed during Sunday evening.

She mentioned that she’ll genuinely miss him, as he had a knack for keeping everyone at the camp entertained and always managed to make her laugh. In essence, he was quite the joker.

After he disclosed that she had expressed a desire for Dean to be the initial contestant eliminated from the jungle last week, it appeared as if the star altered her stance on the matter.

Despite Dean stating that he wasn’t upset by her views, he expressed his feelings following his departure from the jungle by saying, “I’m thrilled she’s discussing me; I’m firmly on Team Coleen.
