Rebekah Vardy hits out at ‘smug’ Coleen Rooney with thinly-veiled comment as she slams I’m A Celeb’s new format and claims the show is fixed
As a dedicated follower of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and someone who has braved the Australian jungle myself, I must say that this year’s twist with the Ticket to the Cyclone is a bit too much for my taste. I believe the public should decide who stays in the competition, not some arbitrary editing or setup.
Rebekah Vardy subtly took a dig at “arrogant” Coleen Rooney before the upcoming finale of I’m A Celebrity, airing on Sunday.
As a devoted enthusiast, I too have voiced my concerns regarding the recent changes in the show’s structure. I believe these alterations to be questionable, and I find myself aligning with those who feel that the new format seems predetermined or rigged, as it has significantly impacted the viewing experience for many fans. The unexpected twist appears to have marred the show’s charm, leading me to share their sentiments that something about the show no longer feels authentic.
In her recent article for The Sun published on Thursday, Rebekah shared numerous thoughts regarding the episode that aired on Wednesday evening.
Some individuals seemed taken aback at making it to the final, there’s no doubt about that. However, one individual appeared rather self-assured and unsurprised, I must say.
‘Well, looking forward to tonight’s show to see who ends up in the final.’
The last-standing celebrities are fiercely competing to secure their spot in the finale and an opportunity to experience the iconic Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

Over numerous years, the esteemed Cyclone Trial has served as an aspirational milestone for numerous stars, and with its recent launch a month ago, it seemed that this year’s installment would follow suit.
In summary, Joel Dommett disclosed that in preparation for the Celebrity Cyclone, the remaining contestants this year would compete against each other to secure immunity from the upcoming two elimination rounds. This means they’d get a chance to participate in the trial.
He explained: ‘Over the next two days, the campmates will be competing for this,’ before holding up an enormous ticket that says Ticket To The Cyclone.
Whoever emerges victorious here is secure from elimination during the upcoming two rounds and has an assured spot in the coveted trial that everyone desires. In simpler terms, it’s the Celebrity Cyclone! He concluded.
Viewers disapproved of the latest move, and some even suggested that the management was imitating the format of “Big Brother,” with its emphasis on twists, following criticism during the recent season of the ITV reality program.
Jumping into the heated debate about the recent change, the previous contestant of I’m A Celebrity… commented: “I don’t concur with how they structured it. In my opinion, the audience should have the final say, that’s what the essence of the program is all about.
‘Public gets to choose their winner, not how someone’s edited or set up.’
She expressed: “Hold off on altering the layout! Historically, the final four have been decided by the audience, and it appears they aren’t thrilled about this latest change.

‘There is too many people now saying that this show has definitely been fixed.’
Ever since Colleen ventured into the jungle, Rebekah hasn’t been shy about expressing her opinions regarding her rival. She openly called Colleen ‘boring,’ and furthermore, she expressed a desire for Colleen to consume a bull’s private part.
Last week, Rebekah claimed her rival Coleen was ‘getting it easy’ in the I’m A Celebrity camp, in comparison to her own stint on the ITV show.
As a die-hard admirer, let me express my thoughts: This season, it feels like the celebrities are receiving lavish perks prematurely in the competition, and I can’t help but feel that I would have starved during my initial week in the camp!
She mentioned that the contestants this year have it much easier than when she was on the show. Back then, we barely received any food during the first week, and luxuries like home comforts were out of the question.
I don’t mind they have their luxuries early on, as it’s essential in the wilderness to stay strong. However, ITV isn’t pushing them hard to earn those perks. The grumpy camp members certainly add drama to the show.
