43-year-old WAG and her 38-year-old husband have decided to sell their Portuguese home, priced at a hopeful £9.7 million, after the conclusion of the trial.

In the previous month, Judge’s decision required Rebekah to contribute approximately £1.27 million towards Coleen Rooney’s legal costs, in addition to her own expenses, which were reportedly over £2 million, stemming from a costly libel lawsuit initiated by Rebekah in 2022.

It seems that Rebekah appears to have overcome her financial difficulties, as evidenced by her journey to Europe, where she attended Rebecca Naylor’s wedding aboard a private aircraft.

Rebecca, soon-to-be bride and fiancée of Leicester City player Danny Ward, additionally posted a picture on her Instagram Stories featuring herself along with other wedding guests waiting near the aircraft.

These inaccuracies included claims about Coleen traveling to Mexico for a ‘gender selection’ treatment, her intentions to re-enter television, and flooding in Rebekah’s basement.

Despite Jamie maintaining a high salary in the Premier League, raking in approximately £7.3m at Leicester City last season and being connected to a potential move to Manchester United, it’s clear that the financial impact of the Wagatha scandal and its consequences has been significant on his personal finances.

For quite some time, the couple had been leasing their cherished villa situated within the elite golfing community of Quinta do Lago at a rate of approximately £30,000 per week. However, with a heavy heart, they have chosen to list this property for sale instead.

The estate is now up for sale, represented by esteemed brokers Knight Frank, boasting a remarkable asking price of approximately £9.7 million.

Despite a significant increase in prices, up to 16% in the Algarve as suggested by certain assessments, the Vardys’ villa appears overpriced based on the opinion of one real estate agent who spoke to TopMob on the understanding of anonymity.

He mentioned that the property is indeed quite contemporary and aesthetically pleasing, but for those who favor more traditional styles, there are numerous options within that region as well. These alternatives are comparable in size, yet they come at significantly lower prices.

This spacious villa boasts three swimming pools, a fitness center, a sauna, and six cozy bedrooms. It offers a stunning view of the 18th hole on the resort’s North golf course.

As per Knight Frank, this splendid property, constructed across four floors, exhibits a keen focus on fine living details.

Additional aspects of this four-story residence are a movie theater, rooftop patio, and sauna, situated on approximately 0.64 acres of land.

Beyond the three modern outdoor pools that symbolize contemporary living, the villa also features an electric-tinting glass elevator providing access to every level.

The beautifully designed gardens harmoniously match the property’s aesthetic, making it a genuine sanctuary for contemporary life.

The villa is situated near the golf course and popular facilities in the Quinta do Lago resort, allowing for a leisurely stroll.

In 2022, the couple faced a moment of alarm as their luxurious villa appeared at risk from potential forest fire damage.

According to a source familiar with the situation, they shared with The Sun that it has been terrifying. Neighbors have been relocated and residents are gradually being informed to depart from their residences.

Becky is alarmed by the smoke that’s everywhere, fearing it might harm her children if they breathe it in. Also, the water supply has been cut off, leaving her to rely solely on the limited amount of bottled water she has at home.

Jamie and her loved ones back at home have been deeply concerned due to the ongoing situation. The situation seems to be evolving every hour, but Jamie is hopeful that the firefighters, who have been exceptional, will manage to regain control over the situation.

In June 2020, Rebekah initiated a lawsuit against Coleen over libel. Her legal team claimed that she experienced severe emotional distress, pain, worry, and humiliation due to the posting by Coleen and the subsequent events.

During the initial court hearing at London’s High Court in November of the same year, Judge Warby decided that Colleen’s well-known letter evidently pointed out that Rebekah was found responsible for a significant and persistent violation of trust.

It can be inferred that Rebekah often misused her role as a regular follower of Mrs. Rooney’s Instagram account, which was considered normal and routine, by surreptitiously leaking Coleen’s private posts and stories to the press.

In February 2022, when the case resumed in court, a chain of incendiary communications between Rebekah and her representative Caroline Watt emerged. Coleen’s legal team asserted that these messages pertained to her.

Rebekah denied that one message calling someone a ‘nasty b****’ was in reference to Coleen.

When defense attorneys requested to examine Ms. Watt’s phone for additional investigation of her WhatsApp messages, they were informed that the phone had accidentally gone into the North Sea while she was on a boating vacation.

It was decided that Colleen could not file a High Court lawsuit concerning Ms. Watt’s alleged misuse of private information, as this case came up after the scheduled libel trial had begun.

Later on, it was decided that Ms. Watt was unsuitable to deliver oral testimony. Her authorization for her written statement to be submitted as evidence was rescinded, and she lost an agreement that would have permitted reporters to reveal if she had been the originator of the leaked news stories.

Coleen’s legal representative subsequently informed the High Court that it seems as if Rebekah is acknowledging her agent as the originator of the leaked articles. The barrister further contended that her latest declaration implies this, but Rebekah countered by stating she neither approved nor supported such actions.

As a lifestyle expert, I had the privilege of witnessing history unfold last May, 2022, when the long-awaited encounter took place between these esteemed figures in the hallowed chambers of the Royal Courts of Justice in London. The Wagatha Christie trial was underway!

In approximately a month, Colleen solidified her win following Judge Steyn’s harsh ruling, which rejected Rebekah’s claim and confirmed that the essence of Colleen’s well-known incriminating letter was substantially valid.

In the courtroom, allegations were made against Rebekah that she deleted crucial WhatsApp messages relevant to the case. However, she maintained her innocence on this matter. It was further implied that her representative may have purposely thrown her phone into the North Sea.

The verdict indicated that a significant portion of Rebekah’s testimony, taken under oath, was found to be “obviously contradictory,” “not reliable,” and required “great care” in its evaluation.

The judge ruled that Rebekah should pay 90 per cent of Coleen’s costs.

In addition, Rebekah was required to cover the expenses that seven potential journalist witnesses incurred, as they did not testify in court.
