I spotted Rebekah and Jamie Vardy looking absolutely radiant this weekend while cheering on Jamie’s new Italian team, US Cremonese, in their match against Parma Calcio. They seemed so happy and supportive – it was lovely to see!
I was so happy to see them! She’s 43, and her footballer husband is recovering from a muscle strain, but they both looked absolutely thrilled while watching the Serie A game. They just seemed so in love and at ease together.
Rebekah looked stylish for her outing, wearing a high-necked, blue knitted sweater.
Meanwhile, Jamie cut a casual display in a white polo neck top.
This is one of the first times the couple has gone out together since relocating to Cremona, a town in northern Italy close to Lake Garda.
The couple’s children – Olivia, age four, who is already here, and her older brothers, Finley, seven, and Sofia, ten – will be with them soon.
Jamie recently joined Cremonese, a team that was just promoted to Italy’s Serie A league, after his contract with Leicester City ended.
Jamie made his first appearance for his new team last week, entering the game as a substitute in their 0-0 tie against Hellas Verona.
According to The Sun, the team is staying in a lavish £2 million villa in Salo, a town about 50 miles from where they practice.
According to a source, Jamie and Becky are really enjoying their new life in Italy and are making an effort to fit in.
The entire family is learning Italian, and Jamie has already picked up a few of the more expressive phrases.
He’s currently obsessed with saying ‘vaffanculo,’ and surprisingly, he knows a lot of swear words in many different languages – he’s quite the intellectual.
You know, everyone assumed Jamie would spend the season living there solo, with Becky and the kids continuing their usual routine. But they’ve made a really brave decision – they’re diving in headfirst and doing it all together as a family! It’s wonderful to see them embracing this new adventure as a unit.
She fell in love with the area about a year ago during a vacation, and things are going wonderfully so far. They’re very happy and have already made some good friends there.
Rebekah and Jamie appear to be adjusting to life in Italy nicely, with Rebekah seen enjoying the local attractions and supporting her husband.
After 13 memorable years with Leicester City – including a Premier League and FA Cup victory – he decided to move to a new club.
According to a friend, Rebekah and her husband have embraced a relaxed and luxurious lifestyle after moving away from England and the drama of the ‘Wagatha Christie’ legal battle with Coleen Rooney.
Jamie and Rebekah Vardy are the subjects of a new Netflix documentary, and it’s expected to include footage from their time in Italy.
