Rebecca Loos has publicly shared her thoughts on Brooklyn Beckham’s recent criticism of his parents, Victoria and David Beckham.
The 48-year-old woman who previously worked as David’s assistant and alleged she had a relationship with him reacted to comments online by pointing people to a statement posted on Brooklyn’s Instagram account.
Responding to a fan who thought Brooklyn’s statement might be personally affirming for her, Rebecca shared: ‘I’m thrilled he’s finally defending himself and speaking out! I’ve really felt for his wife, because I understand how difficult these situations can be.’
She echoed Brooklyn’s sentiment, commenting ‘the truth always comes out ❤️’, a phrase he himself used in a recent, strongly worded statement: ‘I believe the truth always comes out.’
I remember when Rebecca’s story first hit the headlines back in 2004! She really became a household name when she publicly revealed a relationship with her boss, David. Now, she’s built a lovely life for herself and her family in Norway – it’s amazing to see how things can change!
David has consistently denied claims of an affair and addressed the reports in his Netflix show, which came out in October 2023. Rebecca, however, believes the show was David attempting to create a false impression of being perfect.
Rebecca publicly showed her support for David and Victoria Beckham’s son shortly after he posted a six-page statement on Instagram. In the statement, he explained he doesn’t want to get back in touch with his family and is finally asserting himself.
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31, have become estranged from his family, causing them to miss important events like his father David’s 50th birthday and his recent knighthood. This has led to a noticeable rift within the family.
He stated that problems within the family started at his wedding in April 2022, alleging that his parents, Victoria, 51, and David, repeatedly attempted to sabotage his relationship.
Brooklyn stated he felt pressured by his family, who prioritized publicity over everything else. He also shared that being with Nicola has brought him a sense of calm and eased his struggles with severe anxiety.
Brooklyn also said Victoria canceled plans to make Nicola’s wedding dress right before the wedding. He also claimed she took over their first dance, which was so upsetting he and Nicola privately renewed their vows last year without his family present.
He also expressed frustration with his father, explaining that while he’d traveled to the UK for David’s 50th birthday, his previous requests to meet beforehand were dismissed. He added that when his father finally agreed to a meeting, it was only on the condition that Nicola wasn’t present.
