Forty-one-year-old wife of an AFL player reminisced and posted old photos of them on Instagram to celebrate a special day.
I couldn’t help but start the exhibition with heartwarming snaps of me holding Oscar close as a tiny tot, capturing moments from his early childhood.
I couldn’t help but be captivated by the heartwarming images I came across. In one, Bec gently spoon-fed ice cream to Oscar during their vacation. The tenderness in their interaction was palpable. In another, they were snuggling up on the couch at home, their bodies intertwined in a perfect display of affection and companionship.
As a seasoned sports journalist with a deep-rooted love for Australian Rules Football (AFL), I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the passion and dedication that families pass down from one generation to another. I’ve seen it all – fathers coaching their sons in backyards, grandfathers teaching their grandsons the intricacies of the game, and little ones donning their team jerseys with pride.
In the caption that goes along with it, Bec expressed her amazement that Oscar has become a teenager.
“Today is your thirteen birthday, my dear young friend Oscar Judd. I can’t believe you’re now a teenager! I love you dearly and hope to remain your favorite person for a long time.”
Just like Oscar, I too am blessed with a beautiful family. My little girl Billie, who’s turning eleven soon, and our adorable twins Tom and Darcy, who are currently eight years old, share the same roof with me. They were born to my former partner, the esteemed Carlton captain Chris, who is now forty years old.
seventeen years ago, Chris and Bec crossed paths at a Perth pub when they were still teens; they got married on New Year’s Eve, 2010, in Melbourne’s Albert Park.
The family live in a $7.3million mansion in the upmarket Melbourne suburb of Brighton.
Recently, they all returned from their yearly family vacation in Broome, Western Australia, where they soaked up the winter sun.
On Instagram, she posted numerous vacation photos for all to see, including her son Tom’s humorous comment about one of her dinner outfits that he shared with the world.
One evening, Bec treated herself to a stunning $400 ensemble from Viktoria and Woods for a dinner outing. She donned a silky beige blouse and coordinating pants.
Using a simpler and more conversational tone, “She finished off her effortless and stylish look with a Henne singlet, white heels from Lana Wilkinson, and Pandora earrings.”
Although she appeared stylish and chic in her elegant attire, Bec shared an amusing story about how her son Tom mistakenly thought it was pajamas.
“Tom Judd commented, ‘Those are very swanky pajamas,’ but I’d say the feeling is there even if they’re not actually pajamas,” Bec explained.
