Rebecca Ferguson’s Peaky Blinders Character Kaulo Revealed

As a big fan of Peaky Blinders, I’m really excited about the upcoming movie, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man! They’ve just released a first look at Rebecca Ferguson’s character, and she looks fantastic. Of course, Cillian Murphy is back as Tommy Shelby – it wouldn’t be Peaky Blinders without him! – and it’s great to hear that a lot of the original cast are returning alongside some new faces for this next chapter. After six amazing seasons from 2013 to 2022, I can’t wait to see where they take the story on Netflix.

A recent image from Empire magazine shows actress Amber Anderson as Kaulo, a new character joining the world of Peaky Blinders. The picture is a side profile of Kaulo with a burning building visible in the background.

Ferguson revealed to Empire that when she was offered a part in The Immortal Man, she immediately told Cillian Murphy she couldn’t master a Birmingham accent. She jokingly suggested her character could be Swedish, questioning whether she was even suitable for the role.

Luckily, the challenge didn’t stop Ferguson from getting a role in the movie as a character connected to Tommy. However, we don’t yet know much about who she’ll be playing.

I’m really excited about seeing The Immortal Man when it comes out in March, but I get why there’s a lot of pressure on it – everyone loves Peaky Blinders! Apparently, the actress playing the lead is trying to avoid getting too caught up in all the fan buzz. She says it’s just easier for her to stay focused if she doesn’t pay too much attention to it all – it would just stress her out!

Ferguson wants her new work, The Immortal Man, to honor the characters from Peaky Blinders, especially the women who paved the way for her as a creator.
