Reasn fashion brand founder Adam Frisby and his fiancé Jamie Corbett welcome a daughter via surrogate

Adam Frisby and his fiancé Jamie Corbett have announced the arrival of their baby girl. 

Reasn, a new fashion brand, was founded by a 38-year-old man who, with his partner, recently had a daughter through surrogacy in Connecticut.

Adam and Jamie are thrilled to share the news of their baby daughter’s arrival.

The new dads are thrilled to welcome their baby and are enjoying this precious time as a family. Everyone – the baby, surrogate, and dads – is doing well.

The couple have not yet decided on a name for their baby girl, who was born weighing 6lbs 15oz. 

In August, the Daily Mail exclusively announced that Adam, the founder of In The Style, and Jamie are expecting their first babies together.

We’re so happy to finally share our big news! It’s been wonderful telling our friends and family, and keeping it a secret for so long made it even more special.

It really came as a surprise to everyone, and people were incredibly moved. Sharing the news with our loved ones, and seeing how happy they were for us, has actually been the most rewarding part of the whole experience.

Adam and Jamie shared that it’s been a difficult journey, as they had previously gotten pregnant, but unfortunately experienced a miscarriage.

We connected with a surrogate in 2022 and started the full process, but sadly, she experienced a miscarriage last year and then decided to withdraw.

It was incredibly difficult for her, and it felt like we had to start all over again after three years of effort, which was really disheartening.

We were hoping to find a surrogate mother through an agency. We spoke with a few different women who seemed like potential matches, but none of them felt quite right. Then, last year, we met someone we really connected with, and we traveled to meet her in person.

Adam and Jamie, a couple from the UK, chose to pursue surrogacy in the United States because the legal process there is simpler.

They clarified that the process is very different in the US. From the start, you work with an agency and everything is legally documented. Because they are considered the legal parents right away, the whole process is much simpler.

The biggest challenge is traveling to the US for the necessary medical scans, and then again after the baby arrives. We’ll need to stay in the US for four to six weeks to get the baby’s passport before we can return home, but it’s a small inconvenience considering everything.

Adam and Jamie are godparents to Charlotte Crosby and Jake Ankers’ daughters, Alba and Pixi, and they’ve shared that being involved in the girls’ lives has been a valuable learning experience.

We feel so fortunate to be godparents to Charlotte and Jake’s children – it’s a wonderful experience! We adore them and have already shared some really special moments, like learning how to change diapers and having sleepovers, things we wouldn’t have otherwise gotten to do.

Charlotte is a really vibrant and humorous person, but above all, she’s a wonderful mother. We’ve learned a lot from her, and she seems incredibly happy right now.

She was upset when we initially told her she couldn’t speak, but now she’s really happy. We received a lot of helpful advice from her, Jake, and also from our friends and family.

After leaving In The Style, Adam has been developing a new brand and creating a behind-the-scenes video series.

I was really shocked to hear from Adam last year – he finally spoke out about what happened when the company went under. It was awful to learn that staff were just let go, with no severance or final paychecks, after the business collapsed owing a huge £21 million. It’s just a terrible situation all around.

Adam started the fashion company in 2013. In March 2023, Baaj Capital, a private equity firm based in the UK, bought the company for £1.2 million.

Ben Armstrong took over as managing director in December 2023 after Adam left the role, but Mr. Armstrong has since also left the company.

I’m starting a new career soon, which I’m really excited about. I also want to thank Jamie, who has supported my businesses for the last decade – I couldn’t have done it without him.

It was good to have a short break beforehand, allowing me to relax and recharge after a very hectic period.

Jamie explained that when they return to the UK, both she and her husband, Adam, will be able to work flexibly since they are both self-employed. This means they can often bring their baby to the office with them, which is how they’ve always managed work and family life.
