In a few weeks, the latest edition of Dancing With the Stars will begin, yet fans remain curious about which celebrities will take part in the much-loved U.S. dance contest.
Dancing With the Stars, airing on ABC for its 34th season soon, has a history of launching lesser-known celebrities into instant stardom.
In the previous season, Joey Graziadei, a star from The Bachelor, along with his dance partner Jenna Johnson, clinched the prestigious Mirrorball trophy. Meanwhile, Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bernstein came in as runners-up.
As for this year, only a handful of celebrities have confirmed their appearance.
Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, social media sensation Alix Earle, and Robert Irwin, the offspring of the renowned Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, were the initial ones who disclosed their roles in the project.
In an exclusive revelation to The Daily Mail, it’s been hinted that a celebrity from the realm of reality TV might soon grace the ballroom within a few weeks.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have both been asked to join, according to an insider.
However, it should be noted that the agreement is not finalized at this point, as they are said to require a substantial payment before committing.
The insider mentioned that Spencer and Heidi have each received offers to participate in the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. They’re considering accepting, provided the financial terms suit them. Essentially, it seems they’re focused on the monetary aspects. Currently, talks between their representatives and the show’s producers are intense.
For several years now, the married pair, who tied the knot back in 2008, have found themselves in a tight spot financially following the unfortunate loss of their $2.5 million Pacific Palisades residence due to the catastrophic Los Angeles wildfires this year.
More recently, Heidi, aged 38, disclosed that they don’t have sufficient funds to reconstruct their former residence on the property it once occupied. As an alternative, this couple and their two boys – Gunner, aged seven, and Ryker, aged two – are currently residing in a leased house in Santa Barbara.
To help Heidi bounce back, Spencer, aged 41, promptly encouraged his followers to listen to her 2010 album “Superficial” on streaming platforms.
In its initial week, the album managed to climb to the number one spot on the U.S. iTunes chart despite selling just 1,000 copies. This remarkable achievement was largely due to Spencer’s viral social media posts. According to Billboard’s report from that time, the record earned approximately $150,000 through streaming and digital sales.
Additionally, it sparked a revival in Heidi’s musical journey, as she produced a fresh music video for her chart-topping song “I’ll Do It,” over a decade following its original debut.

The cast members from “The Hills” demonstrate an unwavering commitment to their families by going to great lengths, and participating in the next season of Dancing with the Stars is sure to open up additional profitable chances for them as a duo.
Following the loss of their home in this year’s fires, they’ve been working on finding ways to earn income and regain their financial footing,” the source explained further.
‘What better way than being a part of the show which will no doubt spark other opportunities?
They’ve got the tale of DWTS that they cherish, and if they could weave it in to earn some additional income, they wouldn’t need anything else – they just want to make as much money as quickly as possible.
Regardless of their financial struggles, Heidi and Spencer have been selective about their future plans, turning down offers such as joining the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of their ongoing disagreement with executive producer Andy Cohen.
Heidi and Spencer haven’t officially announced their participation in DWTS, but Heidi’s recent TikTok dance video with professional dancer Maxim Chmerkovskiy hints that he may return from retirement to dance with Heidi on the show.
She commented in a video shared in May, “So, is it possible that we could be doing Dancing with the Stars?” She struck a pose with the 45-year-old former contestant of DWTS.
‘You should be on the next season,’ he told Heidi, who asked if he would be her partner.

‘I’ll un-retire,’ Maksim replied.
Heidi and Spencer are seasoned reality TV veterans.
Speidi, the well-known duo, first crossed paths at a popular Los Angeles club back in 2006. At that time, Heidi was engrossed in the filming of the initial season for MTV’s reality show, “The Hills.
In the very next season, Spencer got involved, and it was only two years later that they tied the knot, following their initial meeting. The show came to an end in the year 2010, having run for a total of six seasons.
They later joined the cast of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009.
Three times they tried to exit the survival show, but it wasn’t until Heidi fell ill, necessitating a hospital visit, that they ultimately departed.
In 2013, they appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK, and then again in 2017 for Celebrity Big Brother: All Stars versus New Stars. However, their stay in the house was cut short as they were voted off after spending 25 days there.
In 2014, they too participated in Celebrity Husband Swap, an experience where Heidi traded her life in Los Angeles for a quieter existence in a rural part of Washington state with four-time Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard.
Back in 2019, some key cast members from MTV’s The Hills got together again for The Hills: New Beginnings, but unfortunately, this revival only lasted for two seasons before it was taken off the air in early 2022.
DWTS will premiere on ABC and Disney+ on September 16.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for DWTS and Heidi and Spencer for comment.
