Reality Star Brandi Glanville Rushed to Hospital Amid Facial Parasite Battle
On Wednesday, Brandi Glanville was urgently taken to the hospital due to her struggle with an enigmatic sickness, which resulted in significant alterations to her facial appearance.
Previously on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the show’s 52-year-old ex-star admitted that she had dialed emergency services when she found herself unable to move her head and neck for extended periods, which left her confined to her bed.
A well-known figure on reality television, who attributes her disfigured face to a parasite, additionally shared images taken in the hospital where she was connected to intravenous lines.
This morning, I found myself completely immobile – my head and neck were fixed in place for a full four hours. It was as if I were rooted to the spot, unable to rise from my bed on X.
911 was the number I dialed, embarking on an enjoyable journey in the ambulance. Now, I find myself at an extraordinary location following a lengthy wait of around four hours in the waiting room while seated in a wheelchair.
In another post, the star posted a picture of a Kaiser Permanente form, accompanied by the comment, “I don’t like it here, but I guess it’s time for another exciting ambulance bill.
Last week, Glanville shared with her followers that she hasn’t noticed any progress in her struggle against her facial deformity.
She posted a picture of a container full of dark fluid, stating it was the runoff from her facial treatment, which she mentioned has been causing several health concerns for her.
‘The clear plaque sitting on top like oily wax is produced all day by my face,’ she wrote.
‘It flows downwards, causing damage to my teeth. I can’t see clearly and there are two hard bumps under my left cheek bone – one at the back of my neck and another on my jawbone. I require a specialist doctor who focuses on infectious diseases, particularly fungal infections. Can you help me find one?’
Brandi, who has invested over $70,000 in her quest for improvement, expressed discomfort by mentioning she had been experiencing chills. Furthermore, she pointed out that nearly all of the lymph nodes in her head and neck area appeared to be swollen.
At the time she wrote, ‘Doctors at Kaiser [Permanente] say I’m fine.’
A few days ago, the reality star confessed that she had been putting on a brave front, appearing happy when in fact she had been feeling quite unhappy.
‘My face is worse than ever. It’s literally melted away,’ Glanville tweeted.

‘Recently, medical professionals at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center administered IV antibiotics and fungal medication for me. My condition started improving; I even began to look normal. However, I couldn’t keep up with the treatment due to financial constraints. Since my doctors at Kaiser didn’t have a clear understanding of my case, I was compelled to seek help from outside healthcare providers. I desperately need a change in my health situation. That is the truth about my current health status.’
In January, Terry DuBrow, known for his role in Botched, performed a series of small tissue samples (four biopsies) on the face and neck of an Unfiltered podcast host, as neither steroids, antibiotics, nor antiviral drugs had provided relief.
There’s no cancer detected, but it takes six weeks for the cultures to grow, so we don’t have any updates yet. [Keeping my fingers crossed].
On December 12, the 66-year-old plastic surgeon communicated to Glanville via TMZ that her disfigurement wasn’t caused by a ‘parasite’, but rather a ‘reaction to something she had been injected with’. He also mentioned that it would take approximately five years for her to fully recover.
The contestant on Traitors found waiting five years far too prolonged, she expressed with a laugh on her podcast.
1. ‘I have a lot on my plate at the moment. There are many places I need to be, people I want to catch up with, and things I’d like to accomplish. It’s been quite some time since I last socialized or spent any romantic time with someone.’
2. ‘Right now, I have several responsibilities that require my attention. I have numerous engagements planned, both personal and professional, and I’m eager to make the most of them. Truth be told, it’s been a while since I last went out or shared a special moment with someone.’
3. ‘My schedule is quite full at the moment. There are various places I need to visit and people I want to reconnect with. To be honest, I haven’t had much opportunity for socializing or romantic encounters recently – it’s been over 8 months since my last date.’
In February, while recording her Unfiltered podcast alongside James Maas, Glanville was spotted employing a compact, red light gadget on her face.
She appeared to be running a gadget across her neck during conversation, with its lights illuminating her skin. The nature and purpose of this gadget remain unclear.

In a recent Instagram Live session, Glanville disclosed that her red light device usage may be linked to her ongoing skin issue.
The ‘worm’ hasn’t left yet, which is why I’m utilizing this [device].
Towards the end of last year, Glanville openly shared during an episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that she has been struggling with severe depression while fighting against a perplexing skin disorder.
As a wellness advocate, I would share my personal journey by saying: “Over the past couple of years, I’ve been grappling with emotional turmoil that runs much deeper than physical discomfort. To be honest, I’ve found myself in the throes of a profound depression, which I’ve kept hidden from many. Consequently, my current state doesn’t allow me to engage in any productive work at this moment. It’s been a challenging and tumultuous time for me, but I remain hopeful that brighter days lie ahead.
At that moment, she mentioned that she was simultaneously taking antibiotics. A brief interruption of these medications led to a sinking appearance on her face.
As a dedicated follower, I confess that I find my appearance more appealing when there’s a hint of swelling. However, when the swelling is only on one side, it’s less than ideal. The gradual sinking feeling, though, is truly tormenting me, as it makes me feel like I resemble someone struggling with substance abuse issues.
As a die-hard admirer, let me share my take on the celebrity’s words: Sometimes, when I’m with my boys, I don a ‘mask,’ as they attempt to soothe me, insisting I seem calm and composed. But deep down, I know the truth of my feelings all too well.

I startled them on occasion, causing them to wonder aloud, “What’s going on here?” My appearance transformed dramatically, shifting from severely bloated to noticeably deflated.
Glanville added that she wants to know what is causing her facial disfigurement ‘so desperately.’
She mentioned: ‘You can essentially do whatever you like to me, and I’d be fine with it. My normal appearance has only lasted for a day or two, not for weeks. I long for it, but it seems to fluctuate.’
Later on, she explained, “When I feel shivers, it’s usually a sign of an infection. After that, I experience a sensation similar to ticking in my ear, and whatever is causing the problem in my face, begins to move around again. And once more, it feels as if it’s settling deeper.
