SNK Corporation is excited to announce that REAL BOUT FATAL FURY 2: THE NEWCOMERS is now available on Steam! This updated version includes improved online play with rollback netcode and more options for multiplayer matches.

REAL BOUT FATAL FURY 2: THE NEWCOMERS is available now on Steam for $19.99 USD. Players can enjoy this 1998 arcade classic with smooth online play thanks to rollback netcode, larger online lobbies, and lots of extra content. You can play locally with friends or compete against players worldwide in tournaments with different formats, including single elimination, double elimination, and round robin.

I’m so excited for this game! The official announcement says there are 23 playable characters, which is amazing. They’ve got all my favorites like Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Li Xiangfei, and even Rick Strowd! Plus, you can play as Alfred, which is a really cool surprise!

Regarding additional features in REAL BOUT FATAL FURY 2: THE NEWCOMERS, the re-release now offers Spectator Mode, Gallery Mode, and a comprehensive Practice Mode.

Practice Mode offers features like adjustable speed settings, the ability to record and replay matches, and a visual hitbox display. Gallery Mode, on the other hand, showcases 59 pieces of classic Fatal Fury artwork and media, including key visuals and a large collection of character portraits.
